Context: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Project Manager to join our team for a European research project focused on ciliopathies. This project is coordinated by the Institute Imagine, a renowned research institution dedicated to advancing the understanding of rare genetic diseases. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the Institute’s Data Science Platform and play a crucial role in managing and analyzing data related to ciliopathies research.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination:
- Work closely with project stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, and data scientists, to define project objectives and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, ensuring that timelines and milestones are met.
- Act as a liaison between the Institute Imagine and other project partners across Europe.
2. Data Management:
- Oversee data collection, storage, and quality control procedures to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with data scientists and bioinformaticians to preprocess and analyze complex biological data.
- Implement data security and privacy protocols in compliance with relevant regulations.
3. Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities, data workflows, and analysis methods.
4. Stakeholder Communication:
- Facilitate communication among project partners, ensuring effective knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Represent the Institute Imagine at project meetings and conferences.
Contract
Type of Contract: Fixed-term (CDD - Contrat à Durée Déterminée) with a defined purpose.
Start Date: As soon as possible.

Qualifications:
- A Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field such as data science, bioinformatics, or biology.
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in the context of scientific research projects.
- Strong background in data management and analysis, including expertise in relevant software and tools.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Familiarity with rare genetic diseases and ciliopathies is a plus.
