Leader of automated accounting for self-employed people in France, Indy is looking to accelerate its development and expand to the USA in 2021.
This is an amazing opportunity for you to launch a startup within a startup and have an impact on thousands of self-employed in the US.

You will be acting as the “CEO of the product” for the American market. You will autonomously drive the product strategy for our American market and will closely work with our Country Manager Paola to identify the market specificities and align the product and the business strategy.

Within the US team and under the direct responsibility of the CEO you will be responsible for:

  • 💪 Building the product from scratch
  • 🎯 Making it reach product market fit
  • 🚀 Growing it and making it become as successful as our French product

⭐ Your missions:

You will be in a highly evolving role with growing perspectives and responsibilities. Your main goals will be :
👉 In the short-term (1-3 months): build an MVP of the US product
👉 In the medium-term (3-10 months): lead product iteration until the product reaches product market fit and is ready for tax time in the US (January-April 2022)
👉 In the long-term (1 year): drive the product strategy for the American market, build and manage the US product team

On the day to day, you will be expected to:
👉 Collect, identify and build deep customer knowledge
👉 Make thoughtful trade-offs and prioritize features development to make evolve the product according to your product strategy
👉 Manage the entire product lifecycle, from the discovery phase to the delivery phase
👉 Write detailed product specs to facilitate software development
👉 Lead the US product & tech squad and work closely with the other members of the US team


Profil recherché

Hard skills: 💪
👉 Have more than 2 years of experience in a similar job as a Product Manager
👉 Are proficient in English: you are comfortable enough to conduct interviews with native Americans. Ideally, you have already lived or worked in the US before
👉 Are a problem solver: you are resilient and are obsessed with understanding complex problems and finding simple solutions
👉 Are user-oriented: you can spend hours listening and understanding customer need in order to imagine features that create strong value for our customers

Soft skills: 🧠
👉Have an entrepreneurial mindset: you are autonomous, hands-on and at ease with early-stage products. If you have one significant previous experience launching a new product from scratch, it’s a great plus
👉 Are ambitious: you are passionate about your job and have a growth-mindset, no obstacle can stop you!
👉 Are curious and eager to learn: you are willing to understand the self-employed fiscal rules in the US and simplify them
👉 Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills: you know how to communicate effectively with your team members to make sure everyone is working towards the same common goal

👉 A 15min first call with Baptiste (Talent Recruiter)
👉 A 60 min video-call with Baptiste. The goal is to get to know you better and tell you more about Indy.
👉 Full-remote business case.
👉 A 60min video-call with Amélie (VP Product France) and Côme (CEO) to talk about your business case and our product culture.
👉A 60min video-call Interview with Paola (US Country Launcher). You will talk about our US strategy and get to know her better.
👉 A 30min video-call with two founders, Pablo and Adrien.
The last 2 interviews will be done in one session.
