INCO Academy is a workforce accelerator that up-skills people from underserved or underrepresented backgrounds for the new economy. Today, we focus primarily on Tech and Green skills. Through intensive training courses and personalized wrap-around support, we help fledgling professionals learn the hard and soft skills required to take their careers to the next level. Since launching in Germany 2020, our courses have already received thousands of applications, and we have awarded over $1M in scholarships to ensure that our programs are free for our learners.

With training sites present across a variety of countries such as the US, Australia, France, Ireland, Germany, the UK, Poland, Luxembourg, Italy and Spain and a rapidly growing global team, this is a groundbreaking project enabling people from all walks of life to find meaningful work in one of the highest growth industries today.

Job description

As Digital Marketing Manager for INCO Academy, you will be empowering teams to widen their reach in various countries and across a rich diversity of profiles. Raising brand awareness is particularly important for us as several of our offices were set up no more than 2 years ago. This is a great opportunity to build upon past achievements to increase our visibility and impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning end-to-end campaign strategy and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Improving processes to make campaigns run as efficiently and effectively as possible
  • Driving accurate performance analysis, reporting on campaign performance, and continuously optimising the funnel based on performance metrics

Key tasks for the role are spread across 2 main pillars.

I. Digital Marketing (70%)

  • Planning digital marketing campaigns, including influencer, paid social, email, SEO/SEM & SMS
  • Social media (Facebook / Instagram / Tiktok): Design, launch, manage and measure paid advertising campaigns designed to recruit new learners into our training programs.
  • Google Ads Management. As a nonprofit, INCO has access to Google Ad grants for our different legal entities, for a total of 10K USD / month / nonprofit
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies

II. Content strategy (30%)

  • Develop clear and engaging content that is consistent with INCO Academy’s branding and addresses both business goals and user needs.
  • Develop a solid understanding of our target audience and ensure our tone is aligned and consistent across our channels.
  • Create guidelines and work with local program teams to collect and share stories from graduates whose lives we have helped impact
  • Perform content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed in line with SEO goals you devise.
  • Create, adjust, and manage the editorial calendar.

Preferred experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proven track record in digital marketing strategy and operations in a fast-changing environment
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of marketing & analytics tools e.g. Mailchimp, Meta Business Manager and Business Suite, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Moz and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, willing to help others, and ready to make your voice heard to help us get our brand recognition to the next level
  • Proven content strategy and project management experience
  • Stellar communication skills and able to collaborate with diverse international teams

The role is located in Berlin, Germany, with potential for occasional travel.
To align with our funded periods, contracts are 12 months renewable employment contracts.
The starting salary for this position is between 40,000 and 45,000 EUR gross per year, based on experience.
