Descriptif du poste

At the European level, the Health Data Hub has been appointed competent authority for France for the joint action Towards the European Health Data Space (TEHDaS), as part of the European Union’s Third Health Programme. TEHDaS will start in 2021 and will last around 2 years, with the aim of drawing up recommendations for the creation of the future European Health Data Space. The joint action’s objective is to strengthen the secondary use of health data in Europe and to establish a common model of health data governance. This space will have the potential to become a powerful driver for innovation and to federate European health data stakeholders.

Contribute to federate the international health data ecosystem

  • Contribute to the organisation of international scientific events and seminars, such as the new edition of AI4Health in 2021;
  • Write synthetic notes, papers and contribute to the institutional communication of the Health Data Hub;
  • Elaborate communication documents to inform our partners and other international stakeholders about the Health Data Hub news and activities.
  • Contribute to the English review and translation of documents and articles

Ensure international strategic and scientific monitoring to gather relevant information on and for the Health Data Hub

  • Gather and evaluate the pertinence of scientific and academic collaboration opportunities and calls for projects in the field of big data, digital health and innovation at both international and European levels.
  • Monitor the evolution of the international and European ecosystem related to health data, AI, Big Data and health policy and research
  • Assist to conduct scientific and media monitoring in the main scientific and medical journals and present key arguments
  • Update and deepen an existing benchmark of similar initiatives in other countries related to different parameters (business model, open science, metadata, etc.).

Accompany the implementation of the international strategy

  • Support for the organisation, setting up and monitoring of working groups in line with international/European institutions (i.e. TEHDaS Joint Action towards a European Health Data Space), similar structures or the research community, such as the European Commission, the European Medicines Agency, ECDC, our equivalents and others.

Au niveau européen, le Health Data Hub a été désigné autorité compétente pour la France pour l’action conjointe pour un espace européen des données sur la santé (TEHDaS), dans le cadre du troisième Programme Santé de l’Union européenne. TEHDaS débutera en 2021 pendant environ 2 ans, dans le but d’élaborer des recommandations pour la création du futur espace européen des données de santé. Cela vise à renforcer l’utilisation secondaire des données de santé en Europe et pour mettre en place un modèle commun de gouvernance des données de santé. Cet espace aura le potentiel de devenir un puissant moteur d’innovation et pour fédérer les acteurs européen de la donnée de santé.

Contribuer à l’animation de l’écosystème et la communication internationale

  • Contribuer à l’organisation des évènements scientifiques et séminaires internationaux, tels que la nouvelle édition d’AI4Health de 2021 ;
  • Rédiger des notes synthétiques et contribuer à la communication institutionnelle du Health Data Hub ;
  • Produire des supports de communication pour informer nos partenaires et d’autres acteurs internationaux au sujet du Health Data Hub
  • Contribuer à la traduction en anglais de supports, articles

Assurer une veille internationale pour récolter les informations et ressources
pertinentes pour le Health Data Hub

  • Rechercher des opportunités de collaboration scientifique, académique, d’appels à
  • projets dans le domaine de la santé numérique et l’innovation à l’international et en
  • Europe
  • Suivre l’évolution de l’écosystème international et européen en termes de politiques
  • et de recherche en données de santé, IA, Big Data et santé
  • Conduire une veille scientifique et médiatique dans les principaux journaux et revues
  • médicales sur des sujets sélectionnés par la direction
  • Mettre à jour un benchmark existant d’initiatives équivalentes dans d’autres pays
  • (modèle économique, incitations au partage, métadonnées, etc.)

Appuyer à la mise en oeuvre de la stratégie internationale

  • Soutien à l’organisation, la mise en place et le suivi de groupes de travail en lien avec
    les institutions internationales/ européennes, des structures homologues ou la
    communauté de recherche, telles que la Commission européenne, l’Agence
    européenne des médicaments et nos homologues

Profil recherché

To be eligible for this internship, candidates must be enrolled in a full-time graduate study program in the fields of International or European affairs and cooperation, politics, sociology, economics and/or public health.

Technical skills

  • Excellent writing skills
  • Knowledge of European and international policy-making and stakeholders ;
  • Interest in organizing events, communication with a variety of stakeholders ;
  • Interest for the health / data / digital / artificial intelligence ecosystem ;
  • Understanding of the institutional context of the Health Data Hub ;
  • English fluency (C2 or mother tongue), good level of French, other languages are an asset

Management and interpersonal skills

  • Very good organisational and logistical planning skills for event management
  • Highly adaptive skills, fast learning, and open-mindedness
  • Attention to detail, strong work ethics, rigour, autonomy and excellent time management and priority-setting required to manage multiple tasks often under time constraints;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, pedagogic skills, clarity of presentation

Pour ce stage, nous cherchons un étudiant en césure ou pour un stage de fin d’études avec
une formation IEP, Affaires européennes ou internationales, coopération / économie
internationale et/ou Santé publique.

Compétences techniques

  • Très bonnes qualités rédactionnelles ;
  • Intérêt pour l’événementiel, la communication et l’animation de communautés d’usagers ;
  • Connaissance du domaine et des acteurs des relations internationales
  • Intérêt pour l’écosystème santé / numérique / intelligence artificielle
  • Compréhension du contexte institutionnel du Health Data Hub
  • Connaissance de l’anglais irréprochable (C2 ou langue maternelle), une ou plusieurs
  • autres langues seraient un plus

Compétences managériales et relationnelles

  • Très bonnes qualités d’organisation et de planification logistique pour l’événementiel
  • Grande capacité d’adaptation, ouverture d’esprit
