Who we are?


HarfangLab is a cybersecurity scale-up, and we have developed an Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) software to detect and mitigate modern cyberattacks on a company's workstations and servers. Our algorithms detect abnormal behaviors and generate security alerts or block program execution.

From 50 to 100 employees in 2023, HarfangLab is experiencing hypergrowth and has already achieved several significant milestones: winners of the Ministry of Defense's cyber challenge in 2019, recipients of the BPI's I-Nov competition in 2020, and software certified by ANSSI in 2021.

Our initial clients include CAC40 industrial companies and government entities. We completed our first funding round of €5 million in 2021 and our second funding round of €25 millions in 2023, which will enable us to strengthen our teams, and to expand internationally in Europe.

Our mission is to protect businesses and government agencies from modern cybersecurity threats (cybercrime, data theft, influence) that endanger the economic health of companies and the security of the nation.

Why are we hiring?

The company's growth continues, our product (EDR) is becoming more and more complex with the constant addition of new features and our ecosystem of technology partners is expanding day by day. Therefore, we are happy to offer an apprentice the opportunity to strengthen our team and help us with new projects. 

What you will do with us?

Your primary role will be to write educational articles for our new platform, implemented to ease the support team and CMS which are in charge of debugging issues encountered by product users:

  • Compile most frequent users questions, 
  • Write articles related to bugs/issues encountered in using the EDR, 
  • Revise educational content, 
  • Constantly update images as product and feature changes occur, 
  • Update documentation. 

You may also be solicited for other missions such as: 

    • You will contribute to ensuring that product features are well-documented and updating all content as the product evolves (FR/ENG), 
    • You will rewrite features described by the product developers (FR/ENG), 
    • You will participate in adding content not yet listed on the EDR (documentation and training), 
    • You will ensure the harmonisation of all screenshots + explanatory diagrams (FR/ENG), 
    • You will progressively assist in instructional design (writing educational content), 
    • Your French/English translation skills will be regularly put to good use.

    About you

    • You are in a Master's program in Educational Science / Digital Creation and Didactics / Instructional Design or equivalent and you are looking for a 1 or 2 years apprenticeship that will start in Septembre 2024,
    • You have at least one experience in writing educational materials, whether within a company, an association, or as a mentor/teacher.
    • You are fluent in French and English (C1/C2 both written and spoken)
    • You have excellent writing skills both in French and English (proofreading, spelling, and syntax correction) 

    Having some of these hard skills would be a plus

    • Ideally, you are familiar with instructional design concepts, 
    • You have knowledge in video/ image editing softwares (audacity, photoshop, premiere pro), 
    • You have experience with educational design software (such as Genially), 
    • You are familiar with Gitlab.

    • You ideally have a strong interest in cybersecurity or related fields,
    • You have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and are eager to learn, 
    • You are resourceful, creative, able to take initiatives and you can work autonomously,
    • You have excellent interpersonal skills that will enable you to assist your colleagues from different teams and achieve common goals, 
    • You are recognized for your reliability, your diligence and your organizational sense, 
    • Teamwork is important to you.
