Happydemics is a tech company that aims to automate the collection and tracking of essential KPIs for brands!

We are a proprietary tech solution allowing brands to instantly gather the opinions of all their targets, distributing short surveys on websites and apps to 4.8 billion individuals worldwide. Awareness, advertising performance, brand experience, and more are thus automatically analyzed by our system so that its customers can make optimal decisions anytime.

Happydemics has had a three-digit growth for three years and has thousands of customers currently using its platform.

Collecting opinions is the core of our business. We are able to reach billions of people around the world by using the digital advertising marketplace. You will be in charge of this central element.

You will join a tech team of about 20 developers with a mature stack and adapted processes. Our challenge is to scale up in terms of usage, features, automation, autonomy from the clients, and tech team staffing. It means continuously adapting our stack and processes to improve our delivery throughput and quality.

Job description

You will be part of the Broadcasting squad. This team has two key responsibilities:

  • Ensure the opinion collection while reducing the CPR and ensuring the quality of the answers collected.
  • Automate the broadcasting as much as possible to scale up the number of campaigns our traders handle.

Following these assignments, your missions in this Broadcasting squad will be to:

  • Ensure the continuity of the broadcast of our surveys through our different DSPs.
  • Extend our survey compatibility with more advertising formats to expand our reach of respondents.
  • Automate the campaign creation/launch/monitoring/termination via the API of the DSPs.
  • Automate the optimization of our campaign strategies, thanks to the data collected by our data team.
  • Help improve the visitor experience to increase the conversions and the quality of the answers.

Did you say full remote? It is not a problem for us as our engineering team is remote first. But you are also welcome to come work with us in our comfortable in Paris. You will enjoy the view of the Eiffel Tower and the Sacre Coeur and have a few drinks with the team at the end of your day!

Preferred experience

  • Have an engineering education or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience as a software engineer.
  • Have an understanding of the digital advertising environments (DSPs, bidders, SSPs, etc.)
  • Have previous experience using advertising technologies such as VAST/VPAID and MRAID.
  • Have used DSPs’ APIs to automate tasks.
  • Have experience developing advertising technology
  • Proficiency in several of those programming languages and frameworks: RubyOnRails/JS/TS/ReactJS/Python
  • Knowledge of Cloud-based systems, in particular, AWS, Lambda, ECS, event-driven architecture, and microservices
  • Experience developing large-scale, complex, loosely coupled, high-performance architectures involving many moving parts
