Role Overview
In this role you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day quality compliance across our Infant Formula (IF) brands and work closely together with the Quality management teams in our key regions China, Australia, France, EU, SEA and US

You will oversee the Global Quality & Food Safety standards for IF and work directly with our contract manufacturers based in Europe (i.e. France, Denmark, Switzerland) to ensure quality specifications, quality for new products and process developments and product releases.
There is an opportunity to extend responsibilities to also cover the Quality management of our Probiotics portfolio.

Mission Purpose

o Define and maintain the Global Quality and Food Safety standards for the H&H Infant Milk Product Category.
o Provide Quality input for new products of the category, process developments and releases.
o Take all appropriate actions and initiatives in order to anticipate and apply legislation evolution, in collaboration with Regulatory, where necessary.
o Ensure IMF sector, market and practices intelligence. Exchange information with Regional Category Quality.
o Set up KPIs related to the category in alignment with the Regional Quality Lead and the Regional Category Quality.
o Approve and manage Contract Manufacturers (CMs) qualification, based on H&H CMs qualification Standard Operating Procedure and identified selection criteria.
o General Management of the identified CMs, with delegation of Global Quality Lead and support of Quality lead in the regions when needed.
o Draft and manage quality agreements of the category, based on the global QTA template and taking into account the relevant aspects of licensing/sourcing agreements as required.
o Provide Guidance to the Global Quality Lead for any CM relationship (trends about OOS, complaints…).
o Draft and lead / manage general core specifications / Quality & Food safety standards, of the category, in relation with Regional Category Quality and with potentially local category Quality (when local is applicable, depending on the region)? with high attention to detail and complete accuracy.
o Organize control release when applicable (i.e. for IMF) with input of Regional Quality lead.
o Manage change control: relation with CMs to get information if appropriate, coordination with regional quality lead.
o Set up audit plans (yearly and 3 years) based on Audit SOP. Organize CMs’ audits (possibility to delegate to Regional Quality lead depending on CM’s location). Ensure CAPAs follow up.
o Ongoing review of processes and the potential for improvement.
o Contribution to the feeding and maintenance of updated data in (e)-qms.
o Effective collaboration cross functionally, providing lead quality advice across internal teams, including Regulatory, Product Development, Operations: Supply, Sales, Customer Service, Digital and Marketing teams.
o Effective collaboration with Regional Quality Heads, Regional Category Quality leaders and Quality and Regulatory teams in China, EU, ANZ, SEA, US on the IMF Quality standards, release criteria and supply.
o Manage different projects as required by the business.
o Communicate clearly and in advance the identified sensitive points and propose solutions / alternatives.
o Continually analyzes and assess personal performance and discuss via key accountabilities with manager/s at regular performance appraisal meetings.
o Implement OH&S standards.
o Show initiative in maintaining a happy, positive work environment.


Profil recherché

Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Food, Nutrition or Pharmaceutical, mainly in the areas of Development, Manufacturing and QA/QC
• Solid understanding of Regulatory requirements for including a strong working knowledge of Quality Risk Management and Compliance.
• Good background in cross-cultural communications and management.
• Experience in IF and in Probiotics is a plus

• Post-graduate qualifications desirable
• International quality experience is considered an advantage
