WHAT WE DO IN THE INTERMEDIARY DOMAIN:

The Intermediary domain is responsible for all the products we sell to Real Estate Agents. It includes all products linked to classified publications on our portals : SeLoger, MeilleursAgents, LogicImmo, ImmoWeb (Belgium) and ImmoWelt (Germany). It also include all the solutions linked to advertising of the real estate agent himself on the same portals and also a set of product allowing them to perform better : e.g. properties valuation tools  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will be accountable for increasing the output of your team and neighbouring teams you influence. You care about your team and the teams around you ;
  • Engineering management is both engineering and management, you will drive technical excellence and support the careers of the people you manage ;
  • Ensure close collaboration between product and tech, this starts with you and the product managers in your team ;
  • Make sure your team is on a path to success by solving our customers’ needs. It is critical that developers have an in-depth understanding of the products they are working on ;
  • Focus yourself and your team on outcomes rather than activity. Avoid busy work by aggressively prioritising what your team is working on ;
  • You will be in close contact with our engineering management community. You will get support from that community and we also want you to.

Profil recherché

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PERSONE WHO CAN :

  • Be a problem solver for your teams ;
  • Drive and support the career of the people you manage ;
  • Ensure a great collaboration between product & tech ;
  • Support the dev team in their technical decisions. The tech stack they use : C#/Typescript, AWS) ;
  • Define with the product and the dev team the improvements needed in priority ;
  • Ensure the teams follow the development and quality policies defined at AVIV.

A PERSON HOW AS :

  • Leadership values, previous experience in management ;
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English ;
  • Great organisation and planification skills ;
  • An Agile mindset ;
  • At least 3 years in software development.
