Gorgias helps e-commerce companies deliver excellent customer service at scale. We integrate email, live chat, voice, Facebook, Instagram, and SMS with Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento.

Our product creates a unified customer profile by combining emails, live-chat, and social-media messages with e-commerce data such as purchase and delivery info. Combining all this data in a single application makes customer service more efficient and just better. Another fortunate side-effect is that some requests are completely automated using machine learning. 💬 + 📦 = ❤️

We've been around since 2015, and we're serving over 9000+ e-commerce businesses, including Steve Madden, Timbuk2, Decathlon, and Sports Illustrated.

Our revenue grew by 80% in 2021 after we raised $25 million Series B in December 2020. We doubled our global team and we accelerated our progress towards our mission to transform support from painful to exceptional for merchants. 🥳

In order to support Gorgias' aggressive growth, we're constantly looking for the best talent. We hired 25 people in the last 5 months, bringing our total headcount to 150 across the globe.

We're aiming to grow to 200 employees by the end of 2021 and 300 in 2022, and it's critical that we meet these goals without sacrificing candidate quality or candidate experience.

That's where you come in.

We're looking for a Talent leader to manage our growing team of 4 internal recruiters, implement best practices around sourcing, interviewing, and DEI initiatives, and help us strengthen our employer brand across the world.

We are a team of high-performing, data-driven, empathetic individuals who care about improving the lives of merchants across the world. We think fast, test often, and iterate quickly, automating wherever possible. We're looking for a leader who has similar values and will help us grow Gorgias' identity and footprint in the years to come.

Your Mission

  • Define and implement our hiring strategy: where to source, which tools to use, which targets to implement etc.
  • Manage the recruiters (5 so far): help them grow, share feedback, work through solutions to obstacles
  • Define the best organization within the team. Implement efficient methods to measure performance, juggle multiple reqs, and monitor KPIs with our internal dashboard
  • Create efficient processes, automating wherever possible, to maximize productivity
  • Manage relationships with the hiring managers
  • Build a strong employer brand: strengthen our presence in the countries in which we operate, organize tech meetups in our offices, and develop a cohesive employer brand voice with the help of the marketing team
  • Implement training for hiring managers around bias, diversity, and good practices
  • Who You Are

  • You have 5+ years of recruiting, ideally at a rapidly scaling startup
  • You biased toward execution: think fast and reiterate
  • You have experience building a strong employer brand
  • You’ve managed a small team of recruiters and understand the value of constructive feedback
  • You are very familiar with recruiting tools and recruiting process
  • You’re data-driven and can easily translate KPI’s into a story to motivate your time, hiring managers, and the rest of the company
