We are currently looking for a Senior Product Director (m/f/d) to join our Product and Technology team in our office in Madrid.

You will work for our GSG Connect tribe, building and operating white label portals for the largest media publishers in the world (e.g. CNN, LeMonde, Elpais, Business Insider, Focus Online, etc.), offering Commerce Content solutions such as coupons, deals, shopping recommendations, and reviews. Our ambition is to help consumers to make the best purchase decision. The tribe traces its origins back to 2012 and operates across 21 markets in Europe, North America, APAC, and Latin America. 

As a Senior Product Director for GSG Connect, you will dive deep with products and partner integrations and use data and experimentation to drive the strategy, vision and roadmaps for your teams with a high degree of ownership over critical features. You will be leading between 3 and 4 product teams as well as build high performing product teams, sharing best practice, cooperating across the business and developing your direct reports. Amongst many exciting challenges, you will also:

  • Develop a clear and aligned product roadmap across executive stakeholders which lays out short-term objectives as well as the 3 year vision across part of the offers and promotions team
  • Continuously improve our product processes and develop and nurture your teams to deliver measurable value for our customers and stakeholders
  • Develop hypotheses together with your teams and champion data-based decision making
  • Work effectively in a matrixed organization, synthesizing and prioritizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into products and applications that customers love
  • Dive deep into our status quo and challenge and drive our automation initiatives forward as well as bring measurable value to our customers and stakeholders
  • Launch differentiated product experiences throughout our product portfolio at scale

We are a match if you have...

  • 5+ years of experience leading product development from start to finish with the ability to drive prioritization consensus across business teams, and serve as an effective liaison between customers, marketing, product, design and engineering teams
  • Extensive experience owning and launching e-commerce web and mobile products at scale
  • Knowledge of consumer related metrics, funnel analysis, conversion, consumer acquisition and retention, and go-to-market strategies for technology products and service
  • Proven success delivering complex technology products and services in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong technical acumen with an understanding of and curiosity for emerging disruptive technologies in advertising tech, personalization, and user growth
  • Proven ability to build trust with senior stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or significant relevant work experience in product management
