Fintecture is a payment infrastructure offering immediate transfer, allowing merchants to collect payments easily.

Launched in 2020, the idea was born out of a simple analysis and yet ignored by all: traditional payments are too complex for merchants and a source of uncertainty for payers.

So, we took a crazy bet: reinventing the payment ecosystem by tackling the technological architecture of payments. Our role is to bring innovative solutions to an industry monopolised by historical players.

We have grown from a team of 7 to over 80 motivated and determined talents to rewrite the history of the payments’ industry. This team has enabled us to sign some fifteen big accounts, ranging from large retail such as Auchan and Leroy Merlin, to business services such as Edenred and Groupe Up, and even tech giants, in just six months.

In 2022, we are raising a total of $29m with the objective of positioning ourselves as the leader of account-to-account payments, doubling our business-volume every two months.

Fintecture has been a key player in immediate transfer, leveraging open banking capabilities to address Ecommerce players. We can proudly display category leaders as customers, such as Auchan, Decathlon or Leroy Merlin.

We are now accelerating very fast and launching additional payment products to better serve B2B transactions, in any context, throughout Europe. This requires an intense coordination among the teams and a top-notch go-to-market strategy. That’s why we are creating a new team dedicated to product marketing and are looking for curious, talented and fast-learner teammates !

You will be reporting to Sophie, our VP Product Marketing & Partnerships (who directly report to co-founders).

Your key missions :

Product positioning

  • Conduct researches & investigate continuously on pain points to define buyer persona
  • Create powerful product value propositions
  • Define messaging / storytelling
  • Monitor competition and industry trends, to translate insights into business opportunities and actionable content
  • Keep an eye on medium-term market evolutions and anticipate impacts (e.g E-invoicing in France)
  • Product shaping
  • Partner with product management team, from discovery to delivery :
  • Be an active member of the product squad in order to develop an in-depth understanding of the product and help them have a clear understanding of the merchants’ needs, aligned with Fintecture’s priorities
  • Review wording with product designers
  • Contribute to feedback loops to evaluate product evolutions with the PM
  • Participate to Product roadmap reviews and share market insights (coming from researches and sales feedback)

Product evangelization

  • Build effective internal communications to share knowledge about the product (“product bible”)
  • Share regular product updates by educating Sales, Customer Success, Communications & Growth teams
  • Work alongside the communication team to build thought leadership by contributing to product-oriented content
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success : attend customers calls on a regular basis, help prioritize the target audience and fine-tune the most efficient product pitch

Product Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Drive the GTM strategy by leading the cross-functional execution (centralize a master planning, define roles / responsibilities, manage deadlines & deliveries)
  • Develop strategic playbooks that enable sales and customer success (product pitch, updated sales deck etc)

Product Performances

  • Measure impact and deep dive into business and adoption analytics
  • Share KPIs with Product Management and Sales

Profil recherché

  • You are often qualified as a sheep with 5 legs, who like challenges, can adapt quickly to change and is able to activate multiple skills
  • You have ideally a strong background in the payment industry, in financial services or in B2B products
  • You have a previous experience in product marketing management, marketing, sales or customer success
  • You are willing to go deep to learn about the nuances of the product, industry, and competitors
  • You are efficient in working in a team, with the ability to build sparring-partner relationships to reach your targets
  • You can run qualitative and market research, with strong analytical and written skills
  • You always think about the customer first, with a sales orientation and are proactive in finding solutions
  • You’re great at project management and at stakeholders coordination
  • You quickly adapt to changes and are familiar with product iterations
  • You have a perfect written and oral expression in French & English
