Your mission

We are looking for an experienced back-end developer to join our fast growing technical team.

In this team, you will have to evolve the code and infrastructure to adapt to the strong growth of the company, both on the user level, but also on the number of developers who will be in the team (technical team of 10 people).

We use the Shape-up methodology which gives a lot of freedom to the engineers to produce the product most adapted to the user (and not the closest to the specs).

Your responsibilities:

• Maintain, improve and add new features to the platform
• Maintain the infrastructure
• Ensure the quality of developments and deliverables (code reviews, tests, etc)
• Maintain and improve the architecture and development processes of the platform
• Helping out when needed on the front end, and therefore willing to learn this part as well
• Coach/train less experienced developers

Tech stack

Back:

• .net core C# (server-side)
• AWS, MySQL, Docker, Grafana, Sentry, RabbitMQ…
  Front:
• Vue.js (3), Typescript, Vite
• SCSS, bootstrap
  General:
• Git, Circle CI

Remote policy

2 options:

• 3 days/month in a row at the office : During those 3 days, everybody at Fifty is on site, we use this time to socialize
• 2 days a week at the office (pretty flexible about this)

Must-have:

• Must NOT speak french well and must be fluent in english
• 4+ years in back-end or full stack
• Good command of a language of your choice (not necessarily C#)
• Some vague knowledge of javascript at least
• Must have the desire to work on the front end (not just the back end) (about 20-30% of the time maximum)
• Have a good level of written and spoken English (no french required!)
• And of course, most importantly, adapt easily and quickly. In a startup, everything moves fast!

All the steps are done via Video call except if specified otherwise.
