Role Overview
Are you ready to be part of Euronext growth? As Business Manager to the Global Head of Business Unit (BU), member of the Managing Board, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic agenda of our business. You will act as a trusted advisor and operational partner, ensuring alignment between strategic goals and day-to-day execution. Based in Paris, you will work with Euronext teams across businesses, IT, legal & regulation and more, across Italy, the UK, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal and France.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Business Performance
- Design, monitor and analyse key performance indicators and financial metrics, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimization.
- Consolidate the BU's strategic and regulatory roadmap portfolio and associated risks, ensuring alignment across all involved Bus and respect of strategic commitments.
- Support the Global Head of BU to identify opportunities for strategic pivots and support repositioning efforts when needed.
- Operational governance
- Review and continuously improve the BU's management system.
- Manage the agenda of the Management Meeting (direct reports and functions leaders regular meeting), minutes and follow up of actions.
- Regularly produce Executive Committee / Managing Board / Board level memos, executive reports, market trends or regulatory analysis and strategic positioning papers.
- Prepare strategic materials, executive briefings, and presentations for senior leadership and client meetings.
- Project Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Oversee and drive some selected business initiatives from development through successful execution, ensuring on-time delivery while effectively managing risks, interdependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Continuously assess and improve internal processes to support scalability and excellence.
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Promote our initiatives and team achievements through internal and external communication channels.
- Facilitate effective communication across teams and with stakeholders, fostering alignment and collaboration.
- Attend high profile meetings in support to the Global Head of BU.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years in strategy, M&A, or consulting within the financial services sector.
- Strategic thinking, ability to write board level memos.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and to embark stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all level of the organization and to drive change in a matrixed environment
- Robust analytical and quantitative skills, as well as attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a knack for synthesizing complex information. Fluency in English is a Must-Have, another European language is a plus.
