DEVELOPMENT OF SHAREHOLDER ANALYSIS ACTIVITY ALONGSIDE THE SHAREHOLDERS RIGHT DIRECTIVE II & GEOGRAPHIC EXPANSION IN EUROPE


The European expansion of our Advisory & IR Solutions business is a strategic pillar for the next two years. Already serving clients in France, the Shareholder Analysis team will deploy a lot of efforts to serve Olso Borse Clients and to accompany the European implementation of the Shareholders Right Directive (SRD2), which should unlock the business potential outside France to Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway etc. Share registers in Europe will be more transparent and more easily accessible from local CSDs.

Job summary

The Shareholder Analysis team provides market intelligence and advice to listed companies subscribing to shareholder identification services. Be part of a dynamic entrepreneurial team with wide range of experiences. Help Analysts to collect and enter shareholding data in internal databases in order to build reports analysing ownership of client shares by institutional investors.

Key Accountabilities

Through the analysis of share registers and nominee lists provided by the Central Security Depositary and the company, the Shareholder Analysis team assists Euronext listed companies in identifying their ownership and thus acquiring a strategic knowledge to favour the execution of their Investor Relations strategy :

  • Monitor positions 'moves of shareholders at fund levels
  • Benchmark the share capital with industrial peers
  • Communicate directly with key holders through efficient interactions
  • Manage their shareholders and investors "CRM" system

Thanks to an established process, access to multi-sources information and a robust data mapping methodology, the team delivers qualitative Shareholder Analysis service, leveraging on the team's experience and analytics and enriching the shareholder raw data with international custodian sources until the disclosure of final beneficial owners.

The Apprentice in the Shareholder Analysis team will support Clients' delivery through the production of shareholder analysis reports and the implementation of tools which will foster the scalability of processes. Under the supervision of Analysts and ultimately the Shareholders Analysis Manager, the Apprentice will also be involved in assisting the business development workflow and in contributing to initiatives which would improve the notoriety of the business (content driven marketing, events, etc…).

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master's degree in a Top Tier Business School
  • First experience in the banking industry, if possible within Securities' services
  • Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to transform information from databases into intelligible and precise presentations
  • Very strong Microsoft Excel skills & Powerpoint
  • Ability to work as a team and to meet tight client deadlines
  • Fluency in verbal and written business French and English
