We are seeking a strong motivated Software Engineer (NextJs/Python) eager to leverage his/her skills in our fight against cancer. This role will report directly to Epigene’s Head of Engineering. The team is located in Paris at Station F, and benefits from the advisory of world-class cancer scientists, data scientists, and technologists, as well as seasoned tech and biotech entrepreneurs and investors, including Daphni.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain our platform for genomic data-driven drug discovery in oncology;
• Review and test code written by your team;
• Monitor, analyze and report bugs from our platform;
• Interact with data scientists and computational biologists to integrate new product features.

Your skills

• Junior to mid-level developer with an experience in python and in any javascript framework;
• Curious with a strong desire to learn;
• Organized, rigorous and willing to be autonomous;
• Strong written and spoken English skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with ReactJS, or even better ReScript,
• Prior experience in python FastAPI;
• Interest for functional programming (ramda, lodash, ReasonML/Rescript);
• Prior experience interacting with databases (SQL and noSQL);
• Working knowledge of healthcare, biopharma and/or oncology;
• Experience with plotting libraries (d3.js);
