Job description

We are seeking a strongly motivated back-end Engineer eager to leverage his/her skills in our fight against cancer. The team is located in Paris and benefits from the advice of world-class cancer scientists, data scientists, and technologists, and seasoned tech and biotech entrepreneurs and investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain our platform for genomic data-driven drug discovery in oncology.
• Review and test code written by the software engineering team.
• Monitor, analyze and report bugs from our platform.
• Interact with data scientists and computational biologists to integrate new product features.
• Contribute to the operational side of the stack: automatisation, ease of release, CI/CD, cloud architecturing.

Minimum Requirements

• Junior to mid-level developer with an experience in Python, preferably previously involved in web application development in Python.
• Curious with a strong desire to learn.
• Organized, rigorous and willing to be autonomous.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• Candidate must be based in France.

Optional Qualifications

• Experience with AWS / Azure / OVH environments for cloud computing pipelines.
• Prior experience in Python and FastAPI framework.
• Prior experience in DevOps (CI/CD, Kubernetes, queuing services).
• Prior experience interacting with databases (SQL and noSQL).
• Working knowledge of healthcare, biopharma and/or oncology.
