Descriptif du poste

At Ekimetrics, we help companies seize their data opportunities by creating new data and analytics capabilities and deploying data science solutions that power-up their revenue strategy (MMM, customer analytics, brand tracking...) or business model (data lake implementation, data strategies, data transformation...).

Our difference lies in an integrated approach to performance, and in the desire to reaffirm the value of understanding the business model, which we believe is at the heart of transforming data into new business assets.

At Ekimetrics, we believe our best assets are our people. They are what set us apart and drive our success. We encourage entrepreneurial spirit and innovation. We share what we know with others and, above all, we love what we do. These sentiments are supported by our company values which serve as pillars in our work and attitude: curiosity, creativity, excellence, transmission, and pleasure.

About the Role

This role is perfect for people a couple of years into their career journey and looking to take their next step into a role that will allow them to be autonomous and start demonstrating their project leadership potential. You’ll need to have prior experience of data science, analytics and modelling in a business or academic setting, and be confident with software such as, R, Stata, or Python.

As a Consultant, you will be working on challenging data science projects with international clients across multiple industries (Auto, Beauty, Retail, Financial Services, etc.), and building bespoke analytics solutions to answer our clients’ key questions.

In the UK entity, the analytic solutions to be deployed focus particularly in Marketing Science and the deployment of our ‘MMO’ offer (Marketing Mix Optimization), either through analytics as a service or building industrialised solutions. As both a data scientist and consultant with Ekimetrics, you will use and develop advanced data analytics and consulting skills on your projects.

From day one, you will join a project team of 3 to 6 consultants and collaborate on 1 to 3 projects simultaneously. From discovery meetings to final recommendations, your responsibilities include gathering and analysing data, building statistical models, translating quantitative insights into strategic recommendations, and delivering the final results.

The projects will push you to create innovative approaches and give you plenty of opportunities to grow both your technical skills and business acumen, and you'll have opportunities to become an operational lead on client projects.

Our close-knit team will support your growth across multiple industries and methodologies. From your fellow Consultants to our Partners, each member of our team takes a vested interest in the development of your skill and career development. We have something to learn from each of our colleagues and actively encourage continuous growth through 70+ proprietary training sessions and collaboration with colleagues as coaches and mentors.

Finally, this is an opportunity to work for a growing, international pioneer in data science that will empower you to have an immediate impact from the beginning.

You’ll need to have some prior experience of data science, analytics and modeling in a business setting, preferably in a consulting firm or other relevant service provider, or within a highly regarded global corporation with a strong reputation for analytics.

Our work is rooted in the creation of innovative analytics and data science tools so you should be familiar with the application of these in a commercial environment and want to learn to conduct business & strategy assignments in order to create value and innovative customer engagements.

Ideally, you’ll have:

·         Experience in using or showing the aptitude to use advanced analytical methodologies to answer business questions.

Transversal Skills

People are at the centre of who we are at Ekimetrics, so as well as excellent technical skills, it’s important that you also have the following:

·         Excellent communication skills – especially translating complex technical findings into insights and stories for stakeholders (internal and external);

·         An ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated;

·         A team-oriented and collaborative working style, both with clients and within Ekimetrics;
