About the job

To sustain our quick growth, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our  US our team in New York, working under our Head of Business Development.

The BD Manager will be a critical member of the team, with cross-functional responsibilities in a growing and dynamic environment.

The US Office has seen very fast growth, and the BD Manager role is designed to help maintain our momentum, help build brand awareness, drive new business, and support our most senior consultants in the closing of commercial opportunities.

We are looking for a self-starter who has good experience in commercial activities, an interest in data science and marketing, and a willingness to learn and step up into a leadership position.

The role of a Business Development Manager is associated with various tasks, duties, and responsibilities, as listed below:

-  Assist in the creation and implementation of company’s best business and commercial practices

-  Analyze prevalent market conditions for company and clients

-  Lead management through effective engagement, scheduling, follow ups, and support through the entire sales funnel from prospect to client, including RFPs

-  Assist and implement strategies of the company in regards to sales, marketing, and other related fields of business

-  Prepare materials and presentations for prospective clients

-  Manage CRM, and the creation and updating of prospect and client profiles

-  Play an important role in supporting Sales, Executive, and Consultant Teams on commercial and strategic initiatives

-  Evaluate company’s competition and its competitors

-  Prepare sales/commercial reports as requested

-  Support Consultant Teams where necessary on commercial proposals

-  Support marketing efforts, such as events, media campaigns, thought leadership, and more

-  Support partnership activities, including partnerships with key digital publishers

-  Generate leads through effective management of sales process of the company.

 

About you

To be considered for this position, there are certain skills and other requirements that you must possess, these include:

-  2-3+ Years of experience in a sales, marketing, or business development environment

-  Bachelor’s degree or higher

-  Exceptional Microsoft Suite knowledge, PowerPoint, Word, Excel

-  Interest in data science, marketing analytics, and marketing

-  Ability to be persuasive

-  Detailed oriented, with ability to focus on multiple tasks

-  Effective networking and interpersonal-relationship skills

-  Ability to maintain customer relationships effectively; which includes tackling difficult clients and their issues

-  Knowledge of sales and lead management

-  Creative thinking

-  Self-starting ability and ability to work unsupervised, while delivering results

-  Analytics mindset, with the ability to manage/analyze data

-  Deadline-oriented

  Salary range: 70 - 100 base salary, not including bonuses
