What is CyberX?
80% of cyber-attacks are due to bad human behaviors. It must change.

CyberX aims to empower individuals against cyber threats.

The idea behind CyberX is to create a platform to help companies protect their employees and them against cyber attacks. In addition of providing digital learnings and tests, the idea behind CyberX would be to create a user-agent / browser extension to inform and assist the user about potentials risks. The philosophy behind the project is to protect individuals and as a matter of fact the company they belong to.

The company is already working +80 customers and is profitable.

Our team is currently composed of the two founders, Grégoire (ESSEC, ex-consultant) & Théo (ESSEC, ex VC, Data-analyst). At the end of a significant seed fundraising and in a context of very strong business growth, our main objective is to keep on welcoming new people in this great entrepreneurial adventure!

About the role
Working directly with Théo and Grégoire the two founders you will be responsible for defining, developing and implementing the CyberX tech strategy and product vision. Then you will participate in building the best tech team possible.

We are looking for a highly skilled CTO with a strong tech background. You are a business partner at heart, a technical leader, and support the overall decision-making process.

Job Description
As the first tech co-founder, you will define and build the product vision, the tech roadmap/stack and scale the tech team to build the best Cyber assistant ever built.

Among others, you’ll be involved in :

  • Product - work hand-in-hand with the Founders a the product strategy, measure the effort of the various features, anticipate and evaluate the structuring technical choices
  • Tech - ensure the quality of the architecture, code and test.
  • Tech Leadership - hire, mentor and manage the members of the tech team, to allow them to grow and give their full potential
  • Tech HR - Lead the recruitment process: from roadmap to closing.
  • Cybersecurity - proactivity on the latest cybersecurity trend to ensure our security coverage and our legitimacy on the industry

Profil recherché

Requirements

  • Entrepreneurship mindset and hacker spirit
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in a technological role and in an Agile/scrum environment, with significant managerial experience
  • Master degree in engineering/computer science school or equivalent experience
  • Experience in working in high-growth / startup environments - Ideally, you have already experienced a scale-up on a B2B SaaS product
  • Hard skills: we are looking for a hands-on CTO can contribute on the early development
  • Soft skills: organization, analytical skills, creativity, adaptation, curiosity, rigor in delivery times, team spirit and proactivity.
  • Strong knowledge in Backend and scaling software in the cloud
  • Strong interest in the cybersec industry is a +
  • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication (both in English and in French)
