Doctolib is looking for an IT Cloud & Security Engineer to evolve its information system and corporate networks, ensure their maintenance in  operational conditions, provide level 2 support in France and Germany, implement the security policy, manage relationships with suppliers and  multiple projects, but above all to provide an incredible service to all Doctolibers!  

The challenge is to help our teams to grow the healthcare professionals who use Doctolib every day as well as the millions of Europeans who  visit our sites every month, and to offer them an outstanding user experience. 

Reporting to the Head of IT Engineering, you will work in a team and transversally with all Doctolib business teams, as well as in close  collaboration with the IT Products & Projects, IT Operations and Security teams. You lead by example with a 'Hands
-on' attitude and information  sharing with your peers. 

About the job :  

You join the Engineering chapter in the IT Service department. 

You work with 12 engineers located in France and Germany. 

We are working through 4 agile squad with ou project & Program colleagues. 

From managing Azure & AWS cloud hosting platforms, to business SaaS services, by all the solutions daily used by Doctoliber. We have two topics. You can take one or choose both.

- Evaluate Data services in Azure or AWS in order to develop our next data platform for IT usage 

  • We want to transform our current ETL solution to a cloud data platform and deploy it in our internal process and management. In order to become  more and more data driven in our operations, new projects and imagine new services for Doctolib teams.

- Develop a modern operational IT stack 

  • As Doctolib scale
    -up we manage more and more SaaS & Cloud services. We want to optimize our incident detection and response with a  modern operational IT stack (monitoring, alerting and auto
    -remediation). 
  • The outcome will be to save time for IT people and improve our service quality.

- Automating business
-critical workflows and process 

  • We want to automate all of those frequent, time
    -consuming tasks that we are doing manually and can create errors. 
  • With Azure Logic Apps and Azure Automation it’s possible to build powerful integration solutions, fast, automate business processes and unlock  value from on
    -premises and cloud applications, without standing up hardware or paying for costly licenses. 
  • The outcome will be to save time for IT and improve our service quality 
  • Our north star is to follow Doctolib people acceleration as we expect to 3000 Doctoliber in the next 3 years. 

Tech environment: 

  • We have more than 230 SaaS applications and are using Azure and AWS cloud platforms. 
  • We have 4 squads located between Paris and Berlin 
  • Doctoliber Experience : all services used by all doctoliber 
  • IT for Business Solution : helping entities scale with their business stakes & paradigms 
  • Core infrastructure : ensure the most efficient, redundant and scalable components of Doctolib’s IT 
  • Security & workplace services : provide security services and guideline to IT teams and workplace services for Doctoliber Working in an agile environment with strong ownership where we promote the right to test & fail and to share your experiences. 

Who you are :  

  • You study in Software engineering or related field and are available for 6 months.
  • Have already some cloud knowledge. A personal experience on cloud data services will be great. 
  • We promote different educational backgrounds (engineering school, master degree, other) as long as you are curious and want to learn and take  ownership. 
  • You will be part of the IT engineering chapter and followed by a senior engineer.
