About This Opportunity:

Docebo transforms its customers’ training experience, empowering everyone - from employees to partners to clients - to learn by combining Formal and Informal (or social) learning. Our ideal Solution Architect is a master at blending the technical with the functional, by presenting to prospects all aspects of our product. You will work with our sales team to gather requirements and solve complex problems. Combining technical and industry knowledge will be essential to understanding the root of every question and providing solutions.

Location: UK, Italy, France, Germany (either office-based or remote in these countries)

Reports to: Head of Solutions Engineering EMEA


  • Run technical presales conversations on various topics (infrastructure, integration, security, compliance, GDPR, …) with a wide range of different stakeholders at all levels within the prospective customer organization from CEOs, to Developers, to Learning and Development Directors;
  • Scope out highly complex technical integrations between Docebo’s product and system in use in the customer organization;
  • Present solutions to technical requirements accordingly to the audience while maintaining an upbeat pace being extremely flexible in tackling a technical conversation with highly technical stakeholders, and reduce complexity to a minimum with less technical stakeholders;
  • Responsible for writing SOWs (Statement of Works) together with the assistance of various stakeholders and within the process in place;
  • Tag team with the Sales Team, and operate with outstanding synchronization to achieve closing business and serving our prospects with quality;
  • Be a responsive and creative member of cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, success) and provide value internally to your sales team as well as to your assigned prospects who are asking “how to do it in a smart way”.
  • Understand  master, and become a pro at describing our architecture to prospects, how Docebo’s products are designed and created and use that knowledge to recommend solutions in different scenarios;
  • Learn our product like nobody else knows it in the company and support our Product team with great insights and feedback.
  • Requirements:

  • Technical sales experience in similar roles (Technical Account Manager, Solution Architect, Solution Engineer, Presales);
  • 4+ years experience working in a Presales, Engagement Management, LMS implementation or integration consultant;
  • Fluent English and fluent French
  • Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript;
  • Ability to code in at least one object-oriented language PHP, Python;
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards REST, oAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0;
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise technologies and systems as like LDAP, SSO, CRM, ERP or HRIS;
  • Working experience with one or more of the following frameworks: Yii 2, Angular 2, React.js, Redux, ngrx/store
  • Ability to do light travel
  • Preferred requirements:

  • Knowledge of any other European languages will be considered a plus
  • Knowledge of the LMS industry and its surrounding standards will be plus (xAPI, SCORM, AICC);
  • Experience in the SaaS industry will be considered an advantage; portfolio and track of project where REST APIs and other modern web frameworks were used heavily.
