    Job description

    Directly reporting to the CTO, you will be in charge of supervising the development team in coding, testing and debugging features of the application. You will also ensure effective communication between team members and other IT teams such as QA, DevOps and UX.

    Your role :

    Once a new issue is released from the Product team, you supervise or take over the following task :

    • Break down the product requirements into technical tasks
    • Estimate workload and complexity for the tasks to be performed.
    • Collaborate with your colleagues to figure out the best technical strategies and practices to complete the task successfully.
    • Develop feature by creating the cleanest, readable, robust and durable code possible in the
    • technological environment (React, GraphQL, Typescript, MongoDB ..)
    • Proceed with the “Merge Request” and submit code to the “HoE” for review / revision.
    • Submit feature to the “Tests / Recipes / Quality Assurance” team.
    • When necessary, correct any bugs identified by the QA team.

    You make sure GitLab is fully updated, backlog is clean, and that issues are fully documented.
    You will contribute to the Technical Departement structuring choices.
    You will get Business Departement updated regarding bugs and troubleshooting feed back.

    Preferred experience

    Your profile :

    • You possess an Engineer Degree in Information science or Computer Science. You have 7 years experience developing NodeJS / React applications (Typescript is a +), involving a management rôle.
    • You show strong project management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • You are a natural people manager, appreciated for your ability to engage the team around your project.
    • You are very comfortable within an organization structured around meticulous reporting and you have no difficulty to get processes adopted.
    • You appreciate a dynamic fast growing environment, allowing you to grow internally up to your own potential.
    • You are eager to participate in the growth of a product already helping hundreds of thousands of people.
      Fluency in French and in English is highly appreciated.
