Job description

Deezer is looking for an engaging Senior Internal Communications Manager to join our HR team. You will be in charge of recommending and rolling out all internal communications initiatives from top management to transversal projects to better engage our employees. With employee engagement and experience top of mind, you will work closely with company leaders to deliver and facilitate communications initiatives that inform and engage, while reflecting our company vision and culture.

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute strategic internal communication plans and content reflecting and embedding our new company vision, purpose and culture 


  • Be the voice of Deezer internally and drive internal engagement, bringing to life our values, finding creative ways to connect employees
  • Recommend creative and engaging internal communication supports and initiatives to ensure employees are continuously informed about major company updates (townhalls, newsletters, meetups, weekly informal coffees…)
  • Support any change management process, building the relevant internal communication strategy to foster adhesion and engagement of our employees 
  • Draft, review, edit and approve speeches and video content for internal announcements and events, as well as employee announcements and advise functional leaders on communications strategies and approaches
  • Coordinate with external communications team as appropriate to execute integrated communications

Preferred experience

This role is excellent for a person with:

  • Master’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, integrated communications, or closely related field

  • 7+ years of experience within public relations, employee communications or corporate communications at an agency or in-house - human resources policy / process experience is a strong plus 

  • Exceptional English writing, editing, and presentation skills

  • Proficient with professional communications standards, including writing style guides and corporate communication best practices, utmost attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

  • Outstanding project manager and self-starter who can work independently, proven team player with strong interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of content management systems

  • Able to take initiative to push internal communication tools to the next level of effectiveness
