The Core Startup main role is to enable product & tech teams to efficiently & autonomously build the most reliable & delightful experience by providing high quality platforms, services, components & support, helping teams find the right balance between reliability & innovation. 

You will integrate the Backend Foundation team and will develop robust and flexible backend foundations to provide Deezer’s customers and Deezerien.ne.s the most secured and delightful experience

What you will do:

• Develop/maintain core libraries and components

• Implement and maintain Core Features on Playback and Service Access and End User Features

• Help technical teams with the architecture of their projects

• Ensure up-to-date backend best practices

What we are looking for:

• 5 years experience in software engineering with significant experience on a service-oriented architecture in production

• Proficient with at least two programming languages (Go, PHP, Typescript)

• Strong and proven software skills (code design and quality, SOLID, DDD, Automated tests, API / HTTP, GraphQL)

• Knowledge on Site Reliability Engineering skills (Monitoring, docker, git, MySQL, memcache, unix, network)

• Must be proactive, self-directed and organised

• Good communication skills and the capacity to adapt

• Fluency in English or French
