As Product Manager, you’ll join the Deezer Core Product Startup to define, craft, and ship a world-class music streaming experience. You’ll be working with one product manager and his squad to deliver their roadmap, and working closely with the rest of the product team to understand our users needs and craft future experiences!

What you will do: 

Working with various teams at Deezer (User Research, Tech, Design, Product, ...) you will own the vision for your topic and make sure it is executed in a lean and speed way.

Product Discovery

• Collect and analyse feedback from users, understand markets and competition in depth.
• Discover the most important problems to solve and weed out what doesn’t bring significant value.
• Competitive benchmarking, identifying standard features, best practices and gaps.
• Define and analyse metrics and KPIs to measure the adoption and performance of your product over time.
• Assist on identifying opportunities and defining product vision and strategy.

Product Delivery

• Write user stories and product specifications.
• Write, prioritise and follow up on bug tickets.
• Prioritise your backlog with your squad and Product Manager.
• Participate in all Agile rituals with your squad: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, retrospective, demo.
• Write internal product release announcements to promote your team’s work to the rest of the company.
• Analyse performances of new products.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing Managers to define a state of the art go-to-market plan

Strategy and planning

• Participate, with the rest of the product team, in the preparation of the quarterly product roadmap.

• Student in Business School, Engineering School or University.
• Ideally, you have a specialisation in project management.
• Ideally, you have a prior experience in product management.
