Descriptif du poste

Dataiku allows enterprises to create value with their data in a human-centered way while breaking down silos and encouraging collaboration. One of the most unique characteristics of our product, Dataiku, is the breadth of its scope and the fact that it caters both to technical and non-technical users. With Dataiku, we aim to empower people through data and democratize data science.

We are looking for an “Industry Data-Scientist” specialized in Manufacturing  to join Dataiku in our Paris office.

The role of the “Industry Data-Scientist” will be to create vertical solutions dedicated to a specific industry on top of DSS.  This means essentially interacting with the Dataiku partner community, and Dataiku customers, to identify interesting industry specific needs, scope joint projects, and build vertical “ready-to-use” vertical solutions.

The “Industry Data-Scientist” will be part of the broad Dataiku Data-Science team which main goal is to enable customers on DSS, and help them get value out of our product.

Our ideal candidate has a strong hands-on experience (either internal or as a consultant) scoping and working on Manufacturing data projects.

  • Act as a go-to-person on Manufacturing specific subjects for the Dataiku Data-Science community and Sales-Engineering teams
  • Collect feedback from Dataiku customers discussions to create a roadmap of verticalized use-cases and solutions: contribution to stronger vertical pitches, step-by-step use-cases documentation, flow prepackaging, apps and plugins creations, contribution to thinking around fully-fledged solutions. to add on top of DSS
  • Scope joint projects with Dataiku customers, data providers and partners around industry specific materials (plugins, articles, go-to-market…). The Industry Data Scientist will notably have a key role to play in helping end business users projecting themselves in daily usage of DSS and leveraging of DSS and prepackaged solutions to tackle their day-to-day pain points
  • Develop “ready-to-use” plugins or DSS workflows dedicated to tackle usual Manufacturing topics. Support GTM activities as required, including marketing and production of relevant training
  • Lead customer coaching sessions on DSS related to your industry expertise
  • Who You Are:

  • Deep hands-on experience on Manufacturing data projects
  • Proven track record of scoping and managing data-science projects.
  • Ability to work in a global, distributed team. Strong communication skills, with capacity to adapt level of technicity and speech to a wide range of audience
  • Appetite for client facing and proven capacity to deliver top quality documentation and marketing contents (blog posts, step-by-step flows, …)
  • Empathy for others and an eagerness to share your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues, Dataiku’s customers, and the general public
  • 2+ years of experience with R or Python
  • 2+ years of experience with predictive modeling
  • Experience developing WebApps (Javascript,Bokeh or RShiny..)
  • Curious, eager to learn and explore, extremely structured and autonomous
  • To fulfill its mission, Dataiku is growing fast!
