Director / VP Sales, North America

The Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading the strategy, execution and management of our sales team (direct and indirect) in North America. This position will be responsible for a P&L associated with the acquisition & development of new customers, and ultimately manage each key leadership requirement related to a high-performance sales organization. We are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of the SaaS platform business, a proven record of accomplishment of building and leading growth sales teams across a broad geography. It is an exciting opportunity to help build a team, strategy and execute a vision to grow the North America business for CybelAngel.

Key Responsibilities

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • In charge of building and managing the US BDR Team that will be the lead generation machine
  • Sell directly and close deals with Fortune 2000 companies owning and delivering on sales goals.
  • Sell indirectly through the right partners
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets established by the Management and execute business development, offering positioning and sales strategies as a leader of the sales team for North America.
  • Develop and manage the overall sales strategies and related cadence and processes.
  • Develop and manage metrics/success criteria for all sales personnel, programs and activities.
  • Participate actively in the solutions and product definition and development process.
  • Work with the executive team to identify and develop strategic alliances, and closely support major customers.
  • Represent the company at customer, partner, and industry events.
  • Consistently hire, coach and develop team members
  • Develop highly engaged resources with a high level of business acumen that enhance the customer experience, demonstrate accountability, and achieve results

Profil recherché

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree is required
  • +8 years of experience with at least 2 to 3 years as Sales Manager / Director on a full region (preferably the east coast).
  • 2 to 3 years required of technology industry experience, preferably with solution sales experience selling to Fortune 2000 organizations to all levels of decision makers and influencers from technical contacts to C-level executives and senior management in mid-sized enterprises in the NA market.
  • Proven commercial experience in a new business sales environment, incorporating value/solutions service selling ideally within the IT Infrastructure / Technology sector. Ideally with experience in Cybersecurity
  • Track record of significant referenceable deals closed with Fortune 2000 companies.
  • Track record of building and managing a successful sales team.
  • Experience in driving effective Go to Market Strategies in the technology market
  • Team player as demonstrated by customer and professional references
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, influencing and written/verbal communication skills
  • Location: Prefered location are New York, Chicago, Washington DC
