We’re looking for a Head of Product Management to scale our Product Organization, strengthen the product culture and increase its customer impact.

You will report to the SVP, Product & Engineering and collaborate daily with the Director of Engineering & Director of Product Design to build together a scalable, valuable & usable product.

This role may later evolve into a VP Product position.

Your responsibilities

Vision & roadmap

  • Helps create long-term product vision
  • Helps the entire company understands the vision and direction for the product
  • Define and track key product success metrics. Use those metrics to help define product goals.
  • Define Product goals
  • Create and maintain a global product roadmap aligned with product & company goals (6M-12M)
  • Ensure roadmap is communicated enough in the company

Team development

  • Manage the performance of product managers (6 today), including providing regular feedback, holding recurring 1:1’s, writing performance reviews, determining compensation, making promotion decisions, building career track, evaluating team against expectations, leveling up the skill set of your PMs, helping PMs set career goals, coaching through difficult situations, providing honest critical feedback
  • Plan the structure of your team: headcount, scopes, succession planning, external hires, internal succession planning, external hires and internal transfers. Identify and fill the gaps
  • Build and maintain a good team dynamic: cohesion, alignment, team spirit

Execution

  • Set up and improve product management processes
  • Build processes that scales with the global organization
  • Ensure processes are applied and provides expected results
  • Partner with the engineering director and product design director to build best-in class methodology for discovery and delivery. Be inspired by best practices from top-notch organizations
  • Ensure each roadmap project delivers significant ROI and progress towards product goals
  • Build deep relationships with leaders across all departments in order to remove blockers, create alignment and build efficient cross-departements processes

Customer & Market knowledge

  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer, data, business, and industry to make the best decision regarding the roadmap
  • Ensure Product team shares this deep understanding of customer, data, business, and industry
  • Communicates this knowledge efficiently to everyone in the company
  • Ensure quantitative and qualitative customer feedback is used in decision making everywhere

  • Cultivate culture of operational excellence and analytical rigor across the organization
  • Cultivate culture of continuous measurable improvements across the organization

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience building and shipping world-class products across various platforms, including 10+ years of experience managing a team of product managers
  • Collaborative approach and belief that the best products are built through a partnership with Product, Design, and Engineering
  • Great communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate your product decisions and how they relate to the problem you’re solving
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience with SaaS, B2B or other complex technical systems (APIs, Machine learning, heavy data products)
  • Preferred Cyber Security knowledge
