Descriptif du poste

CRI and UNESCO launched the #LearningPlanet initiative on 24 January 2020, International Day of Education, with the mission to “Inspire & Empower Learners to Contribute to Better Futures (in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs)”.

The #LearningPlanet aims at becoming a global middle-ground that notably connects youth movements (student unions, activists, learners), innovative learning communities with a cause (educators, social entrepreneurs & other changemakers) together with decision-makers from key institutions in order to transform education systems, learning ecosystems. As a middle-ground, #LearningPlanet develops a range of complementary approaches, such as shared values, global & local events, a network of connected
spaces/hubs, on-the-ground collective problem-solving pedagogies & projects, online platforms & digital solutions.

LearningPlanet is structured around 4 pillars, each of which promotes a series of initiatives:
Pillar 1: Promotion of Collective Problem-Solving Initiatives (pedagogies, resources, etc.);
Pillar 2: Celebration of Learning, notably through the annual #LearningPlanet Festival;
Pillar 3: #LP Open Campus (digital platforms & solutions to empower learning communities)
Pillar 4: Youth Voice & Children’s Rights Advocay

LearningPlanet is currently recruiting a dedicated team that will be based at CRI in Paris and will closely interact with the numerous CRI existing teams and innovative programmes.
