Founded in 2016, Connecting Food is a B2B Foodtech scale-up that offers digital transparency solutions which create value for agri-food players and restore consumer confidence in food. We have developed a SaaS platform for food traceability and digital auditing.
Our platform is powered by blockchain, a technology that enables us to build fully digitalized modules for real-time traceability and digital audits, ensuring that every promise made to the consumer is kept.
Currently employing +30 people based in Paris and Milan, Connecting Food is already marketing and deploying its solution to major food industry clients in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the UK, and the US.
By the end of 2025, our ambition is to become the number one FoodTech company using blockchain in Europe and the top 5 in the US.
Objectives of the role:
As a Presales Manager, you’ll be a key part of the operations team and critical to the future success of Connecting Food. The work that the Presales manager does is the foundation for the rest of the operations team as they work through deployment, adoption and ultimately success for our clients, and a cornerstone of the sales process.
Active throughout all of the key parts of the sales cycle, the Presales Manager is the critical link between internal and external teams, is the operational support for our sales team, uncovers client needs and works to propose a solution to meet those needs.
Not only are we looking for someone who can support the daily activities, we are looking for an experienced Presales Manager who can work with internal members of the team and the Head of Operations to implement processes and strategies which will become the basis for the Presales team to grow from. Your functional expertise will allow you to propose business-driven technology solutions to prospective and existing clients as well as help formalise a team for future growth!

Support the sales team with the operational and technical aspects of the sales cycle and work with internal stakeholders to implement the processes which will drive the formalisation of the Presales team.

Required Skills and Qualificatons
Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a top-tier business or engineering school
3+ years as solution consultant or presales position in a B2B SaaS context
Excellent client facing, sales and technical skills
Successful track record in identifying and engaging key stakeholders (both business and technical stakeholders)
Full professional proficiency in English and French
Digital native and tech-savvy
Prior experience in Agri-food industry
Prior experience in a start-up environment
Ability to speak Italian is a bonus
