Customer Success Manager Italy - (Full-time contract)

Founded in 2016, Connecting Food is a B2B Foodtech scale-up that offers digital transparency solutions which create value for agri-food players and restore consumer confidence in food. We have developed a SaaS platform for food traceability and digital auditing.

Our platform is powered by blockchain, a technology that enables us to build fully digitalized modules for real-time traceability and digital audits, ensuring that every promise made to the consumer is kept.

Currently employing +30 people based in Paris and Milan, Connecting Food is already marketing and deploying its solution to major food industry clients in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the UK, and the US.

As a fast-growing international scale-up, we know that the key to growth is in a high-performing team. Following the partnerships established with various worldwide known Italian food brands, we’re seeking a qualified Customer Success Manager – Italian Market to find and screen potential customers who can benefit from our products and services.

By the end of 2025, our ambition is to become the number one FoodTech company using blockchain in Europe and the top 5 in the US.

The Position: Customer Success Manager (Based in Italy)

Objectives of the role:

Thanks to an increase in the number of clients and users in Italy, France and internationally, the Operations Team is looking for a Customer Success Manager based in Milan. The CSM role is a mix of technical and business functions, is the link between Connecting Food and our clients and ensures an excellent client experience.

Your mission?

Implement our block-chain based digital traceability and audit solution for our agri-food clients and help them optimise their daily usage of the system.

Based in Milan (Italy), we are looking for someone who can work with our Italian, French, and English speaking customers.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

Ensuring client satisfaction and drive adoption of the platform and its functionalities

Work with and train the end users who work with the Connecting Food platform (webinars, videos, FAQ, …)

Defining client objectives and needs and working with them to solve their problems with the CF platform

Identifying and ensuring delivery feasibility: work with the actors in the value chain, study the production processes, and identify the required data to facilitate audits and traceability

Implementing the solution: work with technical teams and blockchain

Analysing the user experience and proposing areas of improvement

Identifying client needs to facilitate upsells

Participating in the growth of the ops team in a unique startup!


Profil recherché

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a top-tier business or engineering school

More than 2 years of Customer Success experience in a B2B SaaS context.

Strong communication and project management skills

Digital native and tech-savvy

Full professional proficiency in Italian, English and French

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in Agri-food industry

Prior experience in a start-up environment


Déroulement des entretiens

Recruitment process:

First interview with CSM Lead (30’)

Second interview with the Connecting Food Italy team (30’)

Third interview with Head of Operations (1hr)

Final decision in about 10 days
