Finance Ops

Collective empowers freelancers, from any expertise and any geography, to team up in one or multiple collectives and to collaborate thanks to a dedicated workspace (single quote, invoice, payment, shared portfolio & governance…). We help them gather, operate and look professional while keeping their freedom.

Since our launch in 2021, we have:

• Formed +700 collectives and worked with +2,000 clients (e.g., Sorare, Spendesk, Cajoo, Get Alma…)
• Generated millions of € in project value through out platform
• Raised one of the largest European Seed-fundraising (€7m after 9-month)
• Built a team of 25 amazing people

Collective plans to hire 10+ people by the end of 2022.

Context

The newly founded Finance Operations team aims at helping collectives of freelancers be paid on time which is one of their biggest issues today. This role is key to ensure that we provide the maximum value to our users and you will be working directly with our COO and Co-founder as well as adjacent teams (product, business operations, sales).

What will you be doing?

• Oversee payment requests from collectives and improve time to payment
• Trigger client invoicing and monitor cash collection
• Work with our product team to build automatisations
• Look for improvement in all processes
• Assess opportunities to the integrate external solutions
• Define and monitor KPIs performance

• 💡 2+ years in an operations or finance role, ideally in a tech and product driven startup
