Our working model reflects a balance between the highly collaborative nature of our business and modern-day flexibility. As a part of our product team, we look forward to seeing you in our Berlin office 3 days a week/ bi-weekly and whenever else you’d like to come in.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop QA automation frameworks for our test infrastructure and provide automation expertise to our engineering teams
• Develop effective QA strategies and create reliable, detailed test plans, test cases and documentation
• Establish quality assurance measures and testing standards throughout the software development process including bug fixes and enhancements.
• Discover and experiment with new test techniques and formats, strive for continuous improvement to uncover and prevent bugs
• Use exploratory testing techniques in order to discover and prevent issues
• Help identify and fix all the quality and reliability issues, knowledge gaps, and technical debt
• Work together with developers, QA and the Product Owner in an agile manner in a squad-based organisation, empower team members towards testing and ultimately creating a culture where everyone cares about quality
• Work together with engineers on testing and ensure the whole team is responsible for quality
• Be humble, reliable, detail-oriented, a team player, admit mistakes readily, never stop learning and growing

What we’re looking for

• At least 4+ years of automated testing experience on mobile (iOS and Android) and web applications, awareness of related frameworks (Appium, XCode UI Automation, Espresso (Mobile testing tools and frameworks)
• Proven experience and completed test projects in mobile test automation
• Understanding of CI/CD - how it works and when the automated tests should be included
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
• To be organised, communicative, and proactive, and excited to be involved in ongoing product development
• Passion and desire view quality holistically and ensure the highest software quality

4. Product Demo: present your task solution to our Team Lead and Product Manager like a demo. They will check your fit to the team, how you collaborate with the non-tech side of the organization and your way of thinking about product.

5. Cultural interview: we will have a chat with you about our culture and checks what can be your non-technical contribution to Choco.

6. OFFER: your interviewers will make a decision together regarding your offer.
