As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a central role in our approach to automate using machine learning, utilizing the power of state-of-the-art pre-trained large language models like GPT-4 to craft bespoke solutions. We're in search of a seasoned, autonomous, and innovative full-stack data scientist who is eager to contribute to our vision.

In this role, ownership and initiative are foundational. From the outset, you'll be entrusted with significant responsibility, navigating through ambiguity and taking the lead in your assigned domain. Your ability to self-direct, engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders and deploy and run models in production will be essential. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading Initiatives: Taking ownership of projects, driving them from conceptualization and development to deployment and optimization.

• Collaboration: Working synergistically with other engineers and stakeholders to integrate sophisticated models into our dynamic systems. You will be fully embedded in a cross-functional product development team that owns user-facing product features..

• Embracing Agility: Adopting a swift, responsive approach, focusing on delivering impactful results and iterating based on feedback and evolving needs.

• Innovating Solutions: Unleashing creativity and expertise to transform intricate challenges into innovative NLP solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret complex business and customer challenges, translating them into actionable solutions.

• Lead the end-to-end development, deployment, and optimization of models, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and effective.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, bridging the technical and business worlds to deliver results.

• Employ an agile approach, prioritizing swift delivery, responsiveness to feedback, and continuous enhancement

What We’re Looking For

• Proven Experience: Demonstrable expertise in natural language related problems and hands-on experience with state-of-the-art LLMs like GPT-4 and how to deploy them safely in production environments.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL with the ability to weave technology and innovation into solutions.

• Ownership Mindset: The capacity to take complete ownership of projects, driving them from ideation to completion with excellence.

• Communication Prowess: Exceptional communication skills, capable of fostering collaboration and translating complexity into tangible solutions.

You Impress Us Even More If You Have

• Experience in a startup environment, navigating the dynamism and pace effectively.

• Experience in developing and optimizing language model-based applications, including conversational agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models, and chatbots, using development frameworks like LangChain

• Expertise in Named Entity Recognition, Information Retrieval, Natural Language Understanding, Search & Recommender systems

• A solid understanding of modern data platforms

Our Tech Stack

• We’re running on AWS, using Databricks + mlflow for ML workflows and developing in Python with the commonly used libraries and frameworks.

• For data transformations, we mainly use SQL, dbt & PySpark
