Through building tools and products for other engineers, our infrastructure acts as a team multiplier - think auto-scaling, scalable storage systems, application performance monitoring, advanced data pipelines, and more.

The media part of Chefclub is our content production engine. Around that, we have several Public-facing products. Website / eCommerce, Mobile App, Chatbot. Plus Internal tooling: Video Production management, data analysis, automatons.

We use Google cloud suite to power our architecture. You will operate Kubernetes, cloud functions, managed PostgreSQL, CDN, Storage, Pub/Sub, Biquery…

What will you be doing?

• Maintain and Improve our Kubernetes environment
• Build tools to scale developer workflows for the engineering team
• Manage / Migrate our CI (TeamCity / BuidlKite)
• Troubleshoot and resolve low-level bugs and issues
• Design and document architecture evolutions

Chefclub also has several on-premise IT servers in place: NAS, VPN, Samba domain controller serving 50 collaborators.

What skills and experience do you need?

• 2+ years of industry experience building highly available, distributed systems
• Fluency in a dynamic language like Javascript, Python, Ruby, or similar
• Track record of launching and delivering projects with some level of ambiguity
• Experience operating Kubernetes
• English proficiency
