We are looking for an ambitious, creative and rigorous head of Business Development to help structure, improve, and boost the revenue growth of the agency.

The Head of Business Development will work closely with:

  • The Managing Director to write a strategic sales plan
  • The Creative and the Marketing Director to package and structure new solutions
  • The Marketing Director to ensure the consistency of the Marketing and Sales efforts
  • Each POD leader to co-define sales targets, recruitment needs and sales approach
  • With the team of hybrid project/account managers (currently 10 FTEs) to ensure the roll-out of the defined development strategy

The role

Stimulate the sales team
The very first role of the Head of Business Development is to stimulate the team by proposing to the Managing Director a clear vision and organization, including weekly, monthly and annual KPIs developped with each POD leader.

He/She is co-responsible with each Pod leader to help hire and train a solid team. It’s worth mentioning that the sales team is currently a hybrid team, responsible for the sales and the delivery of projects. The Head of Business Development has a transversal co-responsibility across the delivery and sales teams to drive the revenue generation.

He/She ensures the good and fruitful collaboration with the team: exchange of good practices, motivation of the teams, co-creation of special offers, etc.

Coordinate the offering
He/She is responsible with the Marketing Director for the development of the offer: coordinating the roll-out and documentation of new offerings and managing special campaigns to maximize sales opportunities. He/She also ensures that all sales teams are frequently trained to the evolution of the agency’s offerings and sales best practices.

He/She is responsible for the pricing of all the offerings: setting up an adequate pricing and discounting plan for each solution provided by the agency.

Set the strategy
He/She is responsible for the long-term strategic development plan: developing and constantly optimizing a plan for the long term objectives of the agency with a plan per region, solution and customer targets up to 2025.

Follow analytics
He/She is responsible to undertake regular analysis to point out to the Managing Director the successes and improvement areas as well as propose actionable insights to boost the sales of the company.

He/She is responsible to provide the sales team with relevant information to ensure the teams improve continuously and put their focus at the right place.

Enforce lean sales operations
He/She is responsible for the consistency and fluidity of sales operations: the conception and maintenance of a sales playbook as well as the careful documentation of all sales material and the rigorous use of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. In addition, he/she makes sure the use of the CRM is aligned with the overarching sales strategy.

Collaborate with the rest of the company
He/She works closely with the rest of the organization: the finance team to conduct analysis, the Marketing Director to continuously improve the lead-generation efforts, the Managing Director to define and refine the sales strategy and of course the sales team.

Sell!
Participate in the sales efforts when relevant: new offer-presentations, large potential deals, prestigious leads to convert, etc.

Develop
Work closely with the Managing Director on specific initiatives such as setting up new POD’s, open new countries, review potential acquisitions.


Profil recherché

Diploma: Minimum Graduate Level
Professional experience: Successful professional experience in a B2B, SAAS or consulting industry (more than 8 years) in a sales role.
Qualities sought:

  • Strong interest in the creative industry
  • Good team member, good listener, working well with peers, good sense of integration and adaptation
  • Ability to understand clients’ needs as well as the tools and messages required to convince and onboard them at multiple layers within the client organization. This includes developing new clients and grow the relationship and the sales with existing clients
