Role & Responsibilities

Your role:

As Chief of Staff, you will have a seat on our leadership committee, and be involved in key, strategic decision making, and will help drive execution/implementation. One of your first responsibilities will be to improve our productivity by raising the level of collaboration between teams and functions. You will have an immediate impact on driving efficiencies, and managing key projects that need attention.You will also be parachuted as needed into strategic projects, especially those that involve cross-team and cross-functional collaboration. You will work directly with all the C-levels and Heads of Department and report directly to the Deputy CEO. You will be the eyes and ears on the ground for the leadership team, and identify opportunities that need attention. This is a highly visible role, and has tremendous growth potential..

Your missions:

You missions: Follow-up and ownership, Align, Facilitate and Coordinate.

You will be working on: 

    • Follow-up & ownership:
      • Driving things to completion, and taking ownership despite not having “official” ownership of it (OKR follow up)

      • Reviewing, designing, and executing on improvements to org structure, finding knowledge and skills gaps and helping address them

    • Align:
      • Translating vision and sometimes ambiguous thoughts into a strategy with clear outcomes

      • Assisting and communicating with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation

    • Facilitate:
      • Reporting board presentation and manager boards

      • Facilitating,communication and coordination between all functional heads / C-levels

      • Influencing different types / senioritis of people in the organisation

    • Coordinate:
      • Coordination of the Strategic Committee and the Operating Committee of Cafeyn Group in order to support all their members to achieve the Group goals and in general serve as liaison between staff, executives, senior leaders, and CEO

      • Stakeholder management

      • Improving current processes and coordinating organisational procedures for optimised efficiency and productivity

Requirements 

You are/You have:

  • Fast Learn quickly about a new area / function / topic to a high level of understanding

  • Switch quickly between high level strategic thinking and going into the details as needed

  • Proven experience organizing and coordinating multiple teams and departments

  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form

  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity

  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication, knowledge of project management frameworks and experience planning and leading strategic initiatives

  • Comfortable in evolving in a high pace and constantly evolving environment

  • Previous experience in m&a execution and / or integration a real plus

  • Data Analysis skills and a focus on developing creative solutions

  • 7+ years of experience in successful international team

  • Consultancy background or previous experience as Chief of Staff

Location

  • This is an hybrid position and remote is allowed in every country in Europe where we have an office even if the recruitment would ideally be in Paris.
