Technical stack:
A mix of AWS, GCP and OVH
Using Docker and our own deployment system
Using Ansible for our instance configuration and Terraform for the infrastructure configuration
800+ servers, with 2PB of data

The Team:
Our 3-engineers infrastructure team:
Is responsible for the entire infrastructure and enables Botify frontend and backend stacks to run in production.
Always takes initiatives to improve or workaround recurring problems.
Supports the other engineering teams (25+ devs) as needed, provides staging/sandbox environments, participates in architecture decisions.
Is involved in code reviews (both for infrastructure and platform code), and suggests or contributes changes in the apps.

Your role:
You appreciate infrastructure and operational work.
You know the DevOps philosophy and practice infrastructure as code.
You like when the platform is up, when operations are smooth and automated, when metrics and errors flow automatically to the right persons and alert you if something goes south.
You take initiatives to make our operations better and communicate with the rest of the tech team at the right level.
You will spend 50% of your time contributing to technical improvements (and 50% run, with a goal of 30%).

Your skills:
You currently work within the Infrastructure or DevOps team of a startup or tech company. You are looking for a fast-growing tech startup fostering a collaborative environment.

• 3+ years of cloud DevOps experience
• You have strong experience working with cloud providers (AWS/GCP)
• You have experience managing mission critical platforms (SLA 99.5%+) and/or experience on a data processing platform
• You use IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible
• You work with an high level scripting language (ideally Python)
• You have good knowledge of the unix platform and ecosystem (we use Ubuntu internally, but it’s not a requirement)
• Professional proficiency in English and French
