ENTER THE GAME

As Head of App Experience, you will join the Customer Experience team, made up of design, research, and design ops experts. This team's mission is to craft a seamless, intuitive, and engaging experience for millions of users across France, Portugal, Poland, and Ivory Coast.

Reporting directly to the Chief Experience Officer, you will be responsible for defining and driving the end-to-end user experience across our core verticals. You'll lead and inspire a team of talented Product Designers, working closely with Product Management, Tech, Research, and Data to ensure every user touchpoint is meaningful, seamless, and continuously optimized.

Your goal is to deliver a seamless, intuitive UX combined with a unique visual style & rich interactions — including animations, micro-interactions, sounds and advanced transitions.

A keen awareness of “multisensory” design is crucial as we aim to create a user experiences that are not only functional, but also emotional and visually striking.

You'll act as a key design leader, focusing 100% on improving in-app experiences and driving a clear, cohesive product experience vision.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

In this strategic role, your main missions will be:

  • Define and drive the App Experience vision across our key verticals: Sports, Casino, and Poker
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented Product Designers
  • Craft a cohesive and multisensory experience, including animations, micro-interactions, sound, and transitions
  • Ensure UX/UI excellence across all user journeys
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Tech, Research, and Data teams
  • Continuously improve the user experience based on data, research, and feedback
  • Partner with the Head of Design Ops to scale the design system, processes, and asset production
  • Promote a culture of user-centered design, experimentation, and performance
  • WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    We're looking for an inspiring Product Design leader to take our app experience to the next level.

    This role is for you if:

  • You have over 10 years of experience in Product Design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • You have strong B2C expertise and have delivered standout mobile experiences at scale
  • You know how to build, structure, and scale high-performing design teams
  • You have deep knowledge of UX principles, interaction design, and usability best practices
  • You are an excellent communicator and team leader who can influence and align stakeholders
  • You enjoy working in cross-functional squads with Product and Tech
  • You are data-informed and user-obsessed, always seeking insights before making key decisions
  • Bonus: experience in gaming, entertainment, or other high-engagement consumer apps
  • And finally, you speak English fluently
  • WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

    If your application is shortlisted, Pierre will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

    Next, you will meet Thomas – Chief Experience Officer, your future manager, followed by Julien – Chief Operating Officer (Excom member). Finally, Audrey will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.

    The recruitment process usually takes between 4 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
