Taking on the role of Tech Lead at Beamy means knowing how to architect a project from its conception and ensuring that the implementation is consistent. It’s about being a driving force in your team’s skills development and to be the guarantor of the right level of delivery quality.

On a daily basis, you are the technical referent of 5 people. You set up the architecture and help the team make it their own. You interact with our product design agency in defining needs and planning development stages.
In the long term, you try to make the teams as self-sufficient as possible.

The scope of this position includes 3 main responsibilities :

1/ Hands-on coding responsibilities (50% of the job) :

• Develop API’s in Node.js for our modules of Detection as a Service (enabling to detect the full cloud software stack our customers use), and SaaS Intelligence (becoming the command center of our customers’s technology).

➡️ If you wish to contribute in frontend development, you will have the opportunity to work on our Vue.js interfaces.
➡️ If you prefer to stick to backend, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our data engineering projects.

• Make sure our systems works properly by monitoring running process, handling and maintening our tools, improuve speed of services, testing, etc.

2/ Strategic Architecture and Tech Stacks responsibilities (#1 responsibility for us to scale properly and with the minimum technical debt) (30% of the job) :

• Transform, with the Product Owners, the different needs of stakeholders into technical solutions, and orchestrate them ;
• Responsible for the scalability of the backend & the infra with optimal performance ;
• Ensure the production of technical documentation.

3/ Team reponsibilities (20% of the job) :

• Ensure the back-end developers have same methodology, skills, best practices ;
• Responsible for the code quality in the engineering team ;
• Bring knowledge to the Engineering Team by your seniority ;
• Bring new tools that increase dev productivity : technology watch ;
• Help on recruitment and engineering hiring processes.
