Data scientist internship

Batvoice scans thousands of customer service calls every day for companies to help them improve their customer relation. Their AI Callwatch leverages Emotion & Speech Analytics to spot trends and eliminate pain points in the customer journey.

As an intern, you will get to work on large, real-world datasets widely varying in content and structure: audio recordings, semi-structured text corpora and tabular data.
You will survey primary literature, build and run models, and collaborate with fellow engineers and data scientists in a friendly atmosphere.

Batvoice provides the necessary appropriate and flexible infrastructure for computing.

You will be encouraged to propose solutions and work autonomously.
This internship could lead to a publication and/or deployment in production.
Satisfactory completion of the internship will lead to a permanent hire.

Required skills:

• Master student or equivalent in scientific, mathematical or engineering domain.
• Strong knowledge in machine learning and statistics.
• Some programming experience (Python, C, C++, etc.).
• Working proficiency in English.
• Curiosity and motivation.
• Autonomy and initiative

Optional skills:

• Experience with a deep learning framework (Caffe, Tensorflow)
• Experience in applied machine learning techniques for natural language processing or speech processing.
