The talent sourcer’s mission is to support the talent acquisition team’s vision to position Baracoda as an employer of choice through talent sourcing and project work.

This role is more than simple recruiting, you should be able to convey Baracoda’s strategy and build career opportunities that engage passive talent. You should be good in head hunting, and have an ease in networking within the industry. Your mission is to identify the right talent. You’ll cover the basics of recruiting, but more importantly, leverage your business knowledge to develop meaningful recruiting strategies that promote direct methods to source, evaluate, and pin down exceptional candidates for Baracoda.
You will have the opportunity to source for a wide range of positions within all Baracoda’s startups.
Talent Sourcer responsibilities include using various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates and building talent pipelines for future hiring needs.

• Be the driver of external hiring activity, subject expert for sourcing strategies within your target skill sets
• Partner with the talent acquisition lead and hiring managers in defining and maintaining candidate pipelines
• Craft custom recruitment message with the goal of a high engagement rate
• Interact with potential candidates on professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Slack and Github)
• Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search)
• Manage referrals from current employees and external networks
• Maintain candidate databases (e.g. via our applicant tracking system)
• Manage the interaction with the candidates up to the in person interviews.
• Be involved in the recruitment process’s feedback loop
• Recommend and drive improvements to effectively screen and assess talent
• Research and gather market intelligence to help our hiring managers understand the external market and shape the requirements
• Attend industry events

This is a 6 months minimum contract.

• Passion about sourcing activity and demonstrating innovation in technical sourcing
• First proven work experience as a talent sourcer or similar role
• Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on professional networks and crafting boolean search strings) - research/sourcing skills.
• Familiarity with HR databases and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
• Solid verbal and written communication skills both in French and English
• Ability to build rapport with potential candidates
