The Supply Team’s mission is to bring to Backmarket.com the best refurbished devices that people want, at a good price and with a level of quality which is as good as new.

To deliver this mission, the Supply Team has three main objectives:

- Chasing and acquiring new merchants, with talented Business Developers (BDs)

- Onboarding new merchants and guiding them throughout our platform and quality requirements, with great Onboarding Manager (OBs)

- Helping merchants maximize their revenue while meeting our quality standards, with amazing Seller Success Managers (SSMs)

The Supply Operations Team is here to drive operational excellence by providing insights, tools, processes, and projects to help BDs, OBs, and SSM focus on high value tasks and meet their quality and sales targets.

As a key member of the Global Supply Operations Team, you will own the Business Performance monitoring and Data analysis for the Supply. 

YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT): 🏅

  • Own, build and coordinate Supply teams’ KPIs, coordinating with Supply and Operations teams as well as C-level needs
  • Track and monitor the operational performance of Supply teams on a daily basis, using Key Performance Indicators such as GMV, Stocks or New Sellers plugged.
  •  Build analyses and create dashboards for the Supply, Supply Operations and C-level teams: your objective is to use data and a strong business sense to derive recommendations for the business
  • Work with Operations teams transversally to create and implement new KPIs measuring the teams’ performance : for example, Seller churn , Profitability at seller level
  • Proactively design and build new analyses to create value for the Business teams in the short and long term (e.g., Sellers’ lifetime value)
  • Transversally manage a team of 4+ analysts within Supply Operations: coaching more junior team members, driving prioritization, ensuring consistency of the data, and addressing interdependencies between different Supply teams
  • Collect and challenge data needs of the Business and Operations teams
  • Collaborate with other Business Analytics teams across the organization to share best practices on KPIs tracked and data used.

  • You have at least 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent role
  • You fully master SQL and Tableau
  • You have exceptional problem solving and analytical skills, and are able to independently identify business insights & share recommendations
  • You operate in an autonomous and proactive manner, and thrive in a transversal role
  • You thrive in a dynamic, challenging, fast-paced work environment
  • You are fluent in English (note that other languages are appreciated : French, Spanish, German, Italian)
  • Ideally, you have previous experience in e-commerce
