Our job offer:

The Chief Information Officer is responsible for defining and implementing AXA LM’s Information Technology strategy, contributing to business objectives (Portfolio Acquisition and Finality) in an efficient, secured, and cost-effective way. The goal is to ensure that IT delivers the maximum value to AXA LM to facilitate the success of the business.

This includes:

·       Development and implementation of an information Technology strategy;

·       Contributing to AXA LM’s security strategy;

·       Definition and monitoring IT Departments budgets and manage its policy;

·       Organize and lead discussions with the Executive Committee and the various business teams to identify requirements;

·       Team management and management of the department's organization;

·       Technological innovation watch.

The Chief Information Officer reports directly to a member of the Executive Committee and holds the Chief Information officer accountability. He/She must ensure a smooth relationship management with multiple stakeholders due to the complex matrix environment through different countries and various AXA entities while considering multi-cultural aspects, hindered by the AXA LM business specificity to continuously acquire new portfolios and achieve their finality.

Let’s talk about your main mission if you accept it: 

·       Transversally accountable for all topics regarding the AXA LM IT landscape:

oDefine strategies, roadmaps and budget;

oEnsure a smooth and secured continuity of services of the applications for all the users across the 4 entities of AXA LM;

oImplement the AXA Group Tech, Data and Operations strategy and make it a pilar of the AXA LM business strategy;

oProactive identification of changes in the IT landscape, proposition of solutions to create value and better performance of AXA-LM;

oAccountable for the definition and implementation of the cloudification strategy in compliance with the AXA Group Guidelines and responsible to promote and lead the implementation of AI & new technologies. To secure the adoption of these transformation by the business, he/she must ensure that appropriate change management processes are in place.

·       Management of 20 employees supported by transversal managers across the 4 entities of AXA LM (FR, CH, UK, US) :

o   Define the strategic plan with BSD managers and lead activities throughout the year across all the BSD departments;

o  Develop the ability of the teams to work together in autonomy, empower the managers to perform all together and powers the growth of capability of the global BSD team. 

·       Accountable of the BSD Budget and expenses across AXA LM and for timely delivery of all expenses and related reports to the PBR and to the group.

·      Management for all BSD projects: adherence to project management standards and procedures; allocation of BSD resources to drive success of transversal & local projects, sponsorship of key projects.

·       Support business development to assess M&A opportunities and proposing adequate IT Integration and Offboarding strategy.

·       Continuous optimization and simplification of business processes.

·       Accountable for the relationship with key business partners and suppliers (incl. AXA GO, Duck Creek, DXC, Vertafore) and responsible for the procurement management. He/she must ensure the Vendor risk framework complies with AXA Group requirement.

·    Develop and maintain a qualitative work relationship with AXA LM’s CSO who reports into AXA LM’s ExCom and AXA Group Security. Ensure the IT resources are available to achieve AXA LM’s security objectives.

Let’s talk about the dimension of the position:

·     Dimension

o   Cost Centre budget: on average EUR 7.5M

o   SLAs with AXA GO: EUR 3 M out of EUR 4.5 M running costs

o   Projects Budget: EUR 3M for 2024

20 employees based in France, the UK, Switzerland and in the US + some external consultants.

·       Interest, knowledge and appetence for the Insurance and reinsurance market;

·       Capacity to convince and develop robust business cases to promote some changes;

·       Fluent in English and French both written and verbal.
