The Role

Our luxury retail team is looking for a passionate and ambitiousPPCAccount Manager.

As a PPC Account Manager, you'll be taking ownership of the creation, optimisation and future development of the allocated Paid Search portfolios. You will manage a team of one or more Account Executives and you will be able to experiment and innovate your client’s activity via new beta and tactics.

You will be part of Artefact Retail, a collective of 40+ individuals experienced in media planning and activation for retailers and e-tailers.

Main responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day communication with your client, building and maintaining strong working relationships 

  • Ensure PPC best practices are implemented throughout your work and across your team for consistent, high quality output

  • Ensure performance is monitored closely against client goals and meets agreed KPIs

  • Develop a strong insight into each client's campaigns and provide well-informed, strategic advice the client in a proactive way

  • Work with the Account Director to develop a strategy plan for your client

  • Liaise with third party providers like Google and feed provider

  • Propose and implement meaningful A/B testing

  • Conduct daily checks for your accounts to spot anomalies or potential issuesProactively maintain a full understanding of Paid search, following industry blogs and being updated on the latest news

  • Ensure that everyone you manage has regular appraisals, clear objectives and a career plan to work towards and that they have the skills required to meet your client’s objectives

Skills required

  • Three years’ paid search agency experience

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of PPC 

  • Experience in managing Google Shopping campaigns

  • Excellent project management and prioritisation skills, with experience of managing a team

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment

  • Excellent numerical and forecasting skills

  • Experience in running large budget accounts

  • Good communication and inter-personal relationship skills, with the ability to communicate complicated concepts simply and effectively

  • Strong problem-solving/troubleshooting skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel 

  • Advanced knowledge of one or more of these bid management tools: Marin, DoubleClick for Search and Kenshoo

  • Eager to be up to date on the latest changes in the search marketing industry
