Outreach Manager

Role purpose

This role requires a passion for content marketing, a creative approach and an obsession with all things digital. You will support the Outreach Manager and wider content team with the day-to-day delivery of Outreach tasks. You will play a key role in the implementation of client projects and you will receive training across SEO, Content and Outreach marketing.

Main responsibilities

  • You will be contributing to outreach and content projects across clients in the agency, including Selfridges, Habitat, Yellow Zebra Safaris, and many more. 
  • You will be trained on all aspects of SEO so that you have an understanding of where Outreach and earning links/ digital PR fit within the Google Algorithm and how it can benefit SEO. 
  • You will be part of the complete process of all Outreach campaigns, from ideation and brainstorming of creative ideas, to working with our editorial and creative teams to design and build ideas for clients. You will be taught how to pitch to journalists, and work with bloggers on a range of creative projects, and also report back to clients on the success of these campaigns. 
  • You may also be asked to consult on some organic social questions, and other creative solutions for clients including other forms of content distribution. 
  • Conduct competitor analysis and produce reports measuring the success of content marketing and outreach campaign activity to support the commercial client objectives
  • If required, deliver community management across social media channels 

Essential skills required

  • A passion for digital marketing
  • 1-2 years experience in a Content Marketing/Digital PR/Outreach role
  • Great networking and relationship building skills
  • Can share a strong and ever-growing portfolio of coverage/campaigns
  • You can successfully create stories and press angles for digital PR campaigns
  • Good writing skills and keen eye for accuracy
  • Experience handling and dealing with data and research for digital PR campaigns
  • Good understanding of the major social media platforms
  • Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimisation
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and the tenacity to follow through on issues which may arise
