Lead Content Manager - AODocs

Location: Europe (Offices in Paris or Milan, or remote)

AODocs is the only cloud native and serverless document management and business process platform used by millions of users worldwide, and recognized by major analyst firms like Forrester and Gartner as one of the global players in the content services platform space.

AODocs offers an agile and truly cloud native solution to large enterprise organizations such as PwC, Colgate, Whirlpool, Solvay, Air Liquide, and Google itself. All these customers have proven AODocs’ ability to displace the traditional content services platforms and the benefits it brings to its customers: scalability, user experience, shorter implementation times by empowering business users to build their own applications, ease of integration thanks to open APIs, all of these benefits combining to accelerate the customers’ business.

Originally built for Google Workspace exclusively, AODocs is about to release a new version of its platform that will be available to all organizations, regardless of whether they use Google Workspace or Office 365. This new release multiplies by 20x our addressable market, from the ~5% of the enterprise market using Google Workspace to 100% of the companies, and opens a new partner ecosystem to AODocs, allowing us to work with large system integrators and consulting companies who have strong ECM practices.

We work in a very collaborative and transparent manner: key metrics are communicated broadly, on a weekly basis, and decisions are discussed collectively, not behind closed doors. The position

We are looking for a Lead Content Manager to expand our content production and make it a true lever for lead generation. While the ability to execute is essential, we are also looking for someone who can contribute to the marketing strategy.

  • Our product is best-in-class in its category, customers love it, the only issue is few companies are aware it exists.
  • Our addressable market just got multiplied by 20 as AODocs - which was originally made for Google Workspace only - just became compatible with Microsoft Office in our last release in January 2022. Our market is global (60% NAM, 30% EMEA, 10% rest of the world) with clients in all industries.
  • Our product can be used for many different use cases ranging from contracts management to quality control, standard operating procedures, capex investment requests, suppliers management, engineering design documents, regulatory compliance, etc. This diversity of activity is a chance but also a challenge: we have many different industries and people to target and we need to adapt our messaging and communication channels to each one of them to make sure we are always impactful. You will be learning something new every day
  • Forget about boring BtoB communication, we want to switch to a BtoC mindset and produce more provocative, fun, eye-catching and memorable content. Reason why we are actively looking for creative minds to join us.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the definition of our content strategy and formalize it through a detailed editorial calendar identifying everything that needs to be done (subjects, format, distribution channel, etc.)
  • Build an effective content-producing operation, leveraging both internal and external resources
  • Work closely with product managers and subject matter experts to create engaging copy across multiple marketing channels (sales assets, website, blog, social content, Newsletter, ebook, video script, etc.)
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of the content produced by others within the company
  • Optimize content for search and virality, working closely with our SEO agency
  • Monitor and maximize our visibility and notoriety with our clients and leads. Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate and report on the success of any piece of content or content
    campaign.

Profil recherché

  • Languages: You are a native English speaker, with excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills. French would be a plus.
  • Strong writing skills: You love writing, you excel at it and have written a lot of great content on various platforms and formats. You know what makes good short-form (Twitter or Linkedin) and long-form (blog, website, ebook, newsletter, etc.) content.
  • Digital marketing experience: You have experience with digital marketing and the main channels and techniques including SEO, PPC, social media and content marketing. You know how to produce content optimized for search and virality.
  • Data Driven: You are obsessed with measuring everything and making data driven decisions.
  • Leadership & collaboration: You are a good leader or willing to grow into one. You have excellent communication skills and the confidence to brainstorm with multiple teams (content, product, sales, customer care, …). You ask questions to get to the bottom of why something should happen and thus how to best make it happen. You are not shy when you review content produced by someone else, you redline like a partner at a law firm until the copy is perfect.
  • Project management: You are organized, able to manage multiple projects at the same time, and know how to report progress in a clear way.
  • Continuous improvement: You thrive to get better everyday even if it means learning from your own mistakes.

Your qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a content production position, ideally in a B2B market
