About your role:

Ankorstore has the ambition to bring technology in a world where both our buyers & sellers are used to phone calls, basic emails & physical trade shows. It’s a world where everything needs to be invented! That’s why Product Designers have a central role with the mission to define new & truly innovative products in an industry that is only starting to digitize!

What will be your responsibilities

• You team up with the Product Manager to solve impactful problems: all the projects will look like “How can we double this KPI?”
• You will lead & have complete ownership over the product design phase
• You work closely with developers to co-design solutions with an acceptable level of complexity, and you provide them with clear specifications
• You evangelize Product Design inside Ankorstore to make sure it is tightly embedded in the development process

The experience we require:

• At least 5 years experience in a Product Designer role with a proven track record to reach ambitious KPIs
• You have already led a full double-diamond process, from discovery phase (user research and problem framing) to designing a solution (ideation, prototyping, testing and handoffs to developers)
• You have experience working in companies where your role was not just about design, but mainly about discovering what user pains are and how to solve them

The 5 most important qualities to succeed in this role:

• You can lead a project autonomously and take ownership
• You love to talk with users, learn how they work & test your ideas directly with them
• You can lead co-design workshops such as Crazy 8, Six to one, One big idea, …
• You master Figma, Sketch or other modern design tools
• Ability to quickly create interactive prototypes, using advanced prototyping tools such as Framer, Principle or Flinto

Other qualities that would add value:

• Experience in SaaS and/or Marketplaces
• Excellent written and verbal communication in French, German or Spanish is a plus
• Experience helping retailers or brands
• Knowledge of SQL
