As Operations intern, you will help the Operations team to build a machine which will enable Ankorstore to absorb high growth and propose to our customer a great and seamless experience. We are at the beginning of a great journey and there is a lot to do to allow our business to scale in order to deliver on our ambitious goals. The Operations team’s vision is to ease our customers’ life while proposing them great services and will be part of it.

To reach these goals, your missions are defined as follow :

• Support the whole Ops team where it’s needed
• Identify and solve problems and implement scalable solutions for key issues across our marketplace
• Set up processes and best practices to increase operations scalability and efficiency
• Manage operational projects which will create high-value outcomes
• Constantly seek for areas of improvement, then define delivery plans and manage their execution
• Find out Ops BU best practices and create corresponding playbooks
• Ensure we’re seizing quick wins opportunities
• Work closely with Operations and other teams through cross team projects
• Make sure the job is done !

Preferred profile

You’re a problem solver with attention to detail and a passion for a collaborative working environment. You are able to think strategically, solve problems from first principles, and validate your assumptions with data. You enjoy thinking on your feet, using your initiative and executing rapidly. You’re able to take a step back when it’s needed but also to be hands on and get your hands dirty when the situation requires it.

You will also be

• Relentlessly curious. You always want to dig deeper and understand why.
• Analytical, with a keen eye for leveraging data to help our team make more insightful business decisions.
• Resourceful and creative. You’re able to create ‘stuff’ and do a lot with little.
• You’re detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy across all aspects of your work.
• Proficient in using Excel. Experience with Python, SQL or other analytical software is a plus, but not essential.
