About Your Role

We’re moving fast to build the best products for our brands and retailers. In 2022 we plan to triple our engineering team by hiring at least 150 new technical roles. And we’re looking for someone who will be able to help us build our mobile application.

Mobile engineers at Ankorstore spend a lot of time working with UX/UI designers, improving the shopping experience, and the performance of our mobile application, experimenting, testing, fine-tuning our features and enhancing our design system.

You will be reporting to the Engineering Manager on the following responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product and Design team and other engineers to find and build the best solutions to our Brand’s and Retailer’s problems.
• Implement new features and solve issues on our mobile application, writing. maintainable, scalable, and well-tested code.
• Review pull requests made by other engineers and provide feedback that everybody can learn from.
• Share knowledge with your colleagues and learn from them.
• Help us to define and follow the best engineering practices.
• Provide support for the code you ship.

What we are looking for

• 4+ years of experience building native Android applications
• Extensive knowledge of the Android SDK and Kotlin programming language
• Experience with clean architecture and good knowledge of SOLID principles
• Experience with MVVM / MVI, Coroutine, Dagger HILT, Retrofit, Jetpack compose
• Experience with testing and good willingness for documentation
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Experience with third-party libraries and REST APIs
• Good understanding of the lean cycle and how quickly meet the customer requirements
• Obsession with quality and customer satisfaction.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Fastlane, Firebase, Google play console.
• Strong soft skills: Communication, Teamwork, ownership, and Empathy
• Fluent in English.
